I've been poo-pooing the Giannis comparisons, but that was straight up Freak.

Please stop the Biyombo comparisons with Kai.

my Biyombo comparison for him was only because his rough edges are quite rough. nothing to do with style of play. Biyombo couldn't catch a pass to save his life at the start. Kai can't seem to bring the ball up above his shoulders inside the paint or in traffic without it getting swatted into the stands.

Re: 2021 Summer League Thread
If I didn't know better, I'd guess Arnolds was our 11 pick and Bouknight was some guy stashed in Europe that was struggling to understand how the game works. He looks...real bad this game.

Now that that's out of the way I cannot wait for todays game against the SPURS.
Primo VS Bouknight *sigh im in heaven* lol
GO HORNETS!!!!!!!!!!!
Being deliberately contrarian significantly reduces your credibility though.
I don't TRY to be different... The leader in me forces me to be. I don't live for credibility, as long as I can look myself in the mirror thats all I care about. I don't attack anyone for their opinion, so I respect the same in return especially when that opinion has netted all star or near all star talent in KOBE BRYANT, DAMION LILARD, AND CHRISTIAN WOOD just to name a few... Hell my Primo pick alone this year was closer to our actual pick than anyone predicted so I will just keep doing me which god intended for us all.

I don't know. I don't want to overreact, and it is, in the end, just summer league. maybe Bouknight's hurt, maybe he's.....sick.....
but he's been benchworthy all game. he'll rev it up just a little bit to do a drive, and that's about all he's got juice for right now. the conclusions just come from that.

Re: 2021 Summer League Thread
Man, there's gotta be place somewhere in the league for 'Gelo. He is such a sweet shooter. Watching him run the court is a bit painful, but such a sweet shooter.

I do think there are some overreactions going on right now, not just you. Bouk looked like a different player in the 2nd quarter, and I think it has to do with confidence. Not sure if that’s a good thing either, but he just has to learn to have that light switched on at all times.

Gelo runs like a newborn giraffe, but he can shoot and plays hard.
