Take out #9, #45, Gerald Henderson, Jeff Taylor, #20, Ross, and Johnson, and then it's closer.
investigate Adam Silver

We give up the best asset by a long long long shot.
Not enough value in dumping Henderson to make it worth while to lose the 9th pick.

Most of us on the board don't see Terrence Ross or Amir Johnson as better value than the player that could be drafted at #9. However, if Cho plan on drafting Gary Harris then your trade would be a good one to save themselves from a wasted pick

Re: Fake Trade Thread 2014-15
Jackson reminds me of Bledsoe this time last year, but for some reason doesn't get the same hype from sports media.
I'll throw this deal out there.
Hornets send
9th pick
Gerald Henderson
Brendan Haywood
receive
Reggie Jackson
Jeremy Lamb
21st pick
Kendrick Perkins
I'll throw this deal out there.

FWIW the OKC fan responded with close but no cigar, i suggested switching out Neal for Haywood and he said closer but probably not pulling the trigger. With that said I think it's a pretty fair deal.

I wish Lamb would just end up here somehow so people would shut up about trading for him. Not knocking this individual deal. But it's like half the board is related to the guy as much as we talk about him.

I would be that way about getting Biz or Jon Henson if I was a Mavs fan, sometimes I think you just see a perfect fit and wanna make it happen as a fan.

I think the Lamb talk will stop if Charlotte finally address trying to find a suitable replacement/challenge for Henderson at shooting guard instead of ignoring it like they have the past couple of years expecting a wing duo of MKG & Henderson to work without perimeter shooting. Sometimes I wonder if it was all a part of Cho's plan to tank by pairing them together at SG/SF or if he really believed that it would've worked (offensively)

I dunno, I don't hate it as much as the others. Amir would be a really good fit next to Al and I like Ross. The 9 is a little too valuable to give up in this package though. It wouldn't be if Ross was more starter-ready. If we could take 20 and 24 and package them to move up into the teens it would be an interesting trade.
So with the 9th pick in the 2014 NBA Charlotte trades for?
