So I haven't seen anything but I guess he's officially a Hornet? Welcome, Beli.

Not official until the deal is submitted to the league and it clears, right?

I'm sure we'll get a team announcement when that happens.

The @hornets will introduce Roy Hibbert & Ramon Sessions today at 3:30 pm. Press conference to be streamed live on http://hornets.com .

Conspicuous omission from this list. Obviously Belinelli could be added once trade clears, but if it doesn't by then it'll be interesting to see Cho not talk about the Belinelli trade just like he'll not talk about any of his other past and future plans.

I'm sure our FO will release an announcement when it goes through, but SAC's PR team seems to be much more active than ours and they've been radio silent on Malachi Richardson. Their first summer league game is tomorrow and they have been putting pictures up on social media of all their draft picks other than Richardson.

If it was just 22 for Belinelli no reason that this would linger.

I mean, until Richardson for Belinelli was officially cleared in the league office, would the Kings be able to promote a guy not officially under contract?

If it was meant to be part of a s&t that fell through, I wonder if we will just nix it altogether? I'm not a Richardson fan, but I'll take him over Belly. Maybe we could renegotiate a pick swap instead and get Skai and maybe a future 2nd?

That's what I'm thinking. If Belinelli was viewed as a bad contract by SAC given his poor performance, then we should have asked for an asset on top, especially if they particularly liked a prospect they thought they could snag at 22.

If they gave up Belinelli + 28 to shed salary and move up from 28 to 22, that would make a whole lot of sense for us.

I guess we were going for less talent and less cap room? Kill two birds with one stone...

“We are excited to be adding a high-caliber player in Marco Belinelli to our roster,” Cho said. “Marco is a solid outside shooter and has proven he can score and create for others in a variety of ways over the course of his nine-year NBA career. He brings veteran leadership to our locker room and we think he’ll mesh with our core group well.”

Cho has officially lost his first trade. We should have, at the very least, received a 2nd round pick or the rights to Skal.

I know we were trying to trade up and obviously didn't like the guys in our range, but we made this trade before the draft had even begun. Lazy, poor work on the part of our front office.

It seems like it was S&T gone wrong and now we will have to live with the fallout. Very bummed about this.

We've officially given up on drafting. Not really what you want to see from a small market team...

Makes zero sense to trade the 22 before the draft started absent talks of a larger deal. Cho has never traded a first round pick before the draft. Doesn't add up.
