Drummond
Beal
Gasol
Anyone else?
And we come away with nothing.
That's funny.
And about $20M this year when Kemba and Lamb leave.amcoolio wrote:I mean we have 45 million in expirings next season

If Kemba is definitely coming back, we can then draft a 2 guard who can play some minutes off the bench or an athletic shot blocker at 4-5. Next year at this time- Trade our expirings for talent or sign a decent FA in summer 2020.
As long as Kemba returns I think we are going to be a lot better going forward. Devonte/Bridges/Monk can all make strides into good players too.
Thats next year. What's the point of watching this year then? There's half a season left.

Fighting for a playoff spot?
Watching Kemba break players ankles?
Bridges thunder dunks?
Monk becoming a consistent scorer?
We were not ever going to win a title this year with the Warriors built to dominate so not screwing up the future to barely be a factor is not appealing to me.

I think at least some of our problems could be fixed by finding lineups that fit together better and utilizing those lineups consistently rather than flying by the seat of our pants every game. I personally would like to see less Batum/Williams, more MKG. Maybe even given Bacon a shot again -- I'm not sure why he disappeared from our lineups to begin with. With the amount of wings we have, there's no reason we should be playing Batum as much as we are given that he plays without any energy and we can almost never count on him anymore. His passing doesn't make our offense any better when we inevitably hit those offensive slumps and he's too passive to be relied on to score, hell, too passive to be relied on to even take a shot most of the time. We can't continue to play him big minutes with him playing the way he has been.
