Re: Around the NBA 11
The superimposed NBA Tip Off logos hurt my eyes and my brain when players or refs run “through” them.

Steph, on the other hand....
That said, if Steph can carry this shamozle of a team to a plus record this season it will cement his legacy as an NBA great IMO.

Re: Around the NBA 11
This Brooklyn team should be dangerous if healthy. Their defense looks like it might not be particularly good and they barely have any good individual passers, but they are loaded with iso scoring and shooting and are playing good team offense so far.

Around the NBA 11
Does the anti-Wiseman crew still want to insist that he can’t/won’t/doesn’t have a long range jump shot?

Re: Around the NBA 11
Wiseman with 19/6 in 24 minutes on 13 shots with 2 steals. Only 1 turnover and 2 fouls. He hit a 3 pointer and a long 2 where his foot was on the 3pt line. He led a fast break twice, once after a grab and go rebound where he took it coast to coast but got called for a charge and another where he drew a foul after getting a loose ball from a deflection.
Pretty good for a 19 year old who hasnt played a game in a year and barely has had a chance to practice with his team.

Thank god we didnt get stuck with this guy.
He's too slow, can't shoot and centers are dead.

Re: Around the NBA 11
Impressed by debut of Wisemanfor him to come in and put up solid numbers without any preseason that is super solid.
I guess counterpoint tho, I never said he wouldn’t be able to contribute day 1 or he would be a horrible player. My issue was how much would he impact winning and make others better.
Wiseman 19/6 on over 50 percent from field...Warriors lost by 26

Fixed. I thought you said 18 months in your earlier post, but it was 12.

Well he moved very lumbering, he reminds me of DeAndre Jordan
Do we need him on this team? Yes, he would be nice to have, but does he have more potential than LaMelo? I don't think so

Hes a 19 year old big. I dont expect him to contribute to winning this season.
Hobbled Warriors were completely overmatched tonight though.

Re: Around the NBA 11
Dont get me wrong, Wiseman is still way more potential than substance and will need a lot of development to be a legit good player. I expect plenty of growing pains either way. Im not trying to jump the gun, but the dude clearly has a lot of talent.

Re: Around the NBA 11
Wtf, Batum starting for the Clippers and just drained a 3 amd got a rebound and a steal.
Im gonna dislike this dude even more if it turns out he could still play but just didnt give af in Charlotte and basically scammed us for a big payday.

I do not think he is intelligent, or perhaps focused, enough to play well on a consistent basis. If he had a roaring, competitive streak, it might be different, but the guy is as laid back as a toasted marshmallow.
