I don't really rate Nick Smith Jr or his archetype but his talent is a decent stab at #27.

Honestly Smith's strength are what I wanted from Scoot.

Wanted Scoot and Brice. Got Miller and Smith. Can't be mad.

At 27 you can afford to take a flyer on a guy like Nick Smith Kr. If he fails you ain’t out much.

Yeah I get some Bouknight and Monk vibes but I feel much better about risking that floor at 27 than I do in the lottery.

I wanted Scoot but only because I thought he was BPA available with Miller #3. Nick Smith was one of my favorite prospects coming into the season and I’m happy we got him. Great low risk high reward here being we have a lot of picks coming up.

The pace of these picks has picked up a lot.

Still got Julian Phillips, Leonard Miller, Andre Jackson, Amari Bailey, Strawther, etc. out there.

EDIT - 86 Strawther.

I like the Nick Smith Jr pick more than the Miller pick, because the value is right. Either way, it looks like we are making a real effort to get shooters

What’s the deal with the medical staff? I have seen y’all make this joke a few times.

Smith was shown “best available” for an hour or more on ESPN site. If he can recover his health and that knee holds up, he can be a steal that low. Felt the Hornets were going to take a home run swing this low, and with Whitehead gone, go for the next injured high potential player.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

So many bad decisions, bad treatment, just bad results related to injury management.

we had a terrible injury riddled season, with players playing injured as well, so we're blaming them

It could be worse, the Bulls GM is having a press conference right now, despite having no picks in the draft and making no trades for 2 years lmao
