Hi, gonna get it out of the way, I'm a Lin fan and truth be told I'm here on this board because Lin is on the team. I'm from the SF bay area so naturally I'm a Warriors fan (try not to hold that against me). So when we meet in the finals this year, I'll have to side with my Warriors. Other than when Charlotte play the dubs though, I will be fully supporting the team--not just Lin, and I mean that. Whichever team Lin lands on, the respective forum is always a place of hot debate and often devolve into place I hate to visit. It was this way at clutchfans anyways, and truth be told, it was in part because of some fanatical Lin fans, but to no less degree because of haters and trolls as well. This is my opinion anyways. It was better at lakersground in large part due to the mods there. I'm happy to say this board has been the best so far. Save the obvious troll Juancesta, everyone, whether Lin fan or not have been usually respectful and engaged in productive conversation. I'll be here lurking regularly but will likely not post all that much because being a Lin fan (although I'm getting to be fans of some other Hornets as well), I'll mostly be posting about Lin. There's enough Lin fans here to keep him in the conversation plenty and I don't want to make this a Lin board, which I know can be irritating to fans of the team even if they honestly have nothing against Lin.

Very well said. And.. Welcome to the board. I hope we (as a board) can find that balance between being a fun/entertaining/educational place to discuss Lin with the many Lin fans, as well as keeping our identity as a Hornets forum, first and foremost. Lin fans know that if they only care to discuss Lin stuff there are many sites dedicated to Lin only. Hopefully this board will be a place that integrates both Lin and the rest of the team equally. The mods will certainly do our best to find that perfect balance.

I play as Charlotte in NBA2k16 and I've noticed that Lin is the most reliable perimeter defender apart from MICHAEL AIR JORDAN.
I split the PG minutes evenly between Lin and Walker.
I start Walker, but Lin ends up playing the 2nd quarter and the all-important 4th quarter.

Wow, I am an old-timer here!

Age? 40

Location? Ottawa, ON

Profession? IT Security Professional/Manager for the Federal Government, also part-time personal trainer/nutritionist.

What did you study (or are you studying)? Computer Science but now love learning about health and wellness.

Level of basketball? All-star HS basketball player back in the day, multiple MVP awards. I was a lights-out 3-pt shooter and scored 8 3-pointers in a game once. Wasn't the most physically gifted but was known for having ice veins and a strong competitive mentality. Held team records of 64 straight FTs and over 20 straight 3 pointers in practice. All I did was shoot hundreds of shots every day, I can appreciate pure shooters.

Why did you become a Bobcats fan? Jeremy Lin, I love an underdog story; guys that can overcome adversity to be a winner in life.

Actually, Im from neighboring Davie County. West Forsyth was our main rival. Chris Paul love is from him being a local and going to my college.
