i love your optimism about the warriors. i would love to see them go to the WCF. however, unless bogut magically heals and he plays like a monster, i dont think its possible.

The categorization around here makes less sense to me than the Dewey Decimal System, but it seems like this might be appropriate for this thread:

25 Best Dunks of the 2012-13 NBA Season. After going through most of the list, I figured we were gonna get snubbed again, but we ended up having three of the top six.

Pete Chilcutt and Rambis don't do it for you?

No mention of Rod Higgins?

Walt Williams, I forgot about him. That was a smooth shooting, crafty vet in his later years.

I saw it while checking the front page of CNN for news on all the craziness going on in the past few days! Is Bleacher Report not a reputable site? I guess that would explain why it was promoted on CNN, birds of a feather and all that stuff ;)

From my expirience it is news site bringing nothing new while being mostly wrong. Full of pictures to be appealing to the eye while with no substance. I refuse to add them visitors to check if that has changed since :)

simmons was so underrated for a few years. he got worse every year he was in the league though. crazy. was 18, 9 and 4 as a rookie, by year 5 he was a total scrub.

Have you come across Walt Williams's career mix that contains everything from his point forward skills to his long range shooting?

I can't say that I'm the biggest fan of his, yet I like his game as I have thing for point forwards (hence, the Lamar in LamarMatic). And for some reason, I absolutely love that mix. The author of it, BigPatrys, has some great videos of guys that were more role players than stars.

thanks lamar. to clarify, my love for walt williams was mainly due to his college career instead of his NBA career. not sure if you ever had the chance to watch vids of walk at maryland but he was a ton of fun to watch. he basically operated like a 6'8" point guard on that team. when he came to the NBA he quickly changed his game to more of a 3pt shooter. i really thought he was going to be a better passer as a pro.

How great would a Celtics sweep over the Knicks be.

New York fans have been so obnoxious lately with a "holier than thou" attitude. And the Knicks don't really have room to improve, so a first round exit without even a chance to face the Heat would be hilarious.

And a game-winner!!! I can't believe the dude's 37. :o :o

EDIT- Watching this Brooklyn - Chicago game. It is almost depressing to see Wallace being a non-factor. He has fallen ridiculously far since we traded him.

**** yeah, the playoffs are here. I only missed out on the Grizzlies game, since I had found out that it was a blow-out. There's not much to say about the Bulls - Nets game, other than the fact that Williams looked very well and the Bulls looked like they were playing a February back-to-back game in Orlando. Abysmal defense by Chicago..

The Dubs shouldn't have let this one get away from them, they could have stolen this one with Faried out and "give it to Miller" being Denver's half-court offense in quarters 2 and 4. Both teams had stretches of sloppy play which you can explain with the huge number of guys without any playoffs experience playing in this series.
Did anyone notice how Iggy smothered Thompson? He was put on Klay at the start of the second half and that was it for the youngster, he couldn't even get the damn ball any more.

As for the Knicks - Celtics game, I think it was decided by both of the benches. While NYK got the lead back at the start of the 4th quarter with a line-up of Felton/Kidd/Smith/Copeland/Martin, The Celtics bench (Crawford, Terry, Lee) combined for 0-7 field goals, 4 points, 6 rebounds, 0 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover, 2 fouls and a plus/minus of -18 in 31 minutes.

It's hard enough as it is to hide Terry and Crawford on defense (they ended up screwing up and giving up three open threes in a row to give NYK a 9-0 run, when being on Kidd and Shumpert at the start of the second quarter), but it's near impossible for the Celtics to win a playoff game when both of them don't contribute on offense. Doc might as well have played a 6-foot tall skinny HS kid, that's how bad Terry was. And he ended up playing 6 minutes in the fourth quarter...

In my opinion, they are. I can't see anybody else winning the title, unfortunately. And I just noticed that it should have been "Heat over Nets in 5".
