Knowitall wanted to trade him from the rip. MCW is terrible. I don't even think Kidd can make him legit. Middleton over there lookin like the PG now. Lol

Didn't Philly get another top 10 pick or something from that?

My Lord, thats robbery.

Say what you want, Philly is doing a good job with asset collection. Now of course that means **** all if you don't put the pieces together to build a good team.

Yup. They got the Lakers first. I don't think it had much protection. It was like top 5 or 7 or something like that.

If they get Russell or Mudiay I might be scared of them. Noel is over there looking like a surefire future DPOY. Every time I stay gawk their games Noel be having like 3 blocks and 5 steals. Lol.

Back in sole possession of 8th, woohoo. Would be nice to finish with a win at Chicago tomorrow and make this a somewhat salvageable road trip.

Other important games tomorrow:

IND vs HOU
BOS at BKN

On Tuesday, it's MIA at MIL, so it would be pretty big for us to win tomorrow night against Chicago -- we could then sit back and scoreboard watch as some of our closest competitors lose since they are all playing against each other.

Lakers first is top 5 protected. If they lose to Philly tonight they'll move down the standings yet again and make it extremely unlikely Philly gets the pick this year. Probably will still be a lottery pick next year though, even if they're lucky enough to get a nice young player and some help in free agency. I think the protection next year drops to top 3, I doubt LA is that bad two years in a row. MCW for a lottery pick is a bargain, considering he hardly looks like a legit lottery pick himself.

They've got assets, that's for sure. At least two high lotto picks in the next two years, probably three unless they or the Lakers make a surprise playoff appearance next year, plus Embiid and Saric coming in and Noel improving.

That's a pretty weird schedule: away, home, away, home, away, home, etc.

It is probably going to take at least 8 or 9 wins in 14 games to have a chance of outpacing Miami and catching Milwaukee. I don't see it happening with 35 minutes of Al every night. We need Cody back bad. If Biz got more minutes and one of our PG's get hot we could possibly do it. Our schedule is so easy.

one game against the entire Western Conference and we've beaten every team on this list this season except for Houston and Indiana. I'm optimistic. We're going 10-4, and cracking the 40-win mark.

JDR720, did you change that schedule up on me! I swear last night it showed us basically playing one road game, one home game, one road game, one home game, etc. for all but like two games!

I still want them to get to 41 wins, because Charlotte Hornet teams do not end up with losing records -- I think we had something like 12 or 13 straight non-losing seasons before they relocated -- but I'm guessing that's a pipe dream after the poor start to this road trip. If they catch fire again, I guess it's possible, but this team just seems content on never playing above expectations for very long. Even if we reel off a few in a row and actually give ourselves some breathing room, we'll just go and &#!* it up like we did with this road trip. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that, at best, we probably won't know our playoff fate until the final few days because this team just hasn't shown a willingness to go out, get ahead, and stay ahead.

I think I am ready for Vonleh to be our Tank Commander. Miami will not be caught up with. 8 seed only one in play and I still think Boston/Indiana are more likely.

If Clifford played Vonleh it would prolly make us better than worse and make Clifford look like a idiot for benching him all season for fabricated reasonings.

We're going to make the playoffs not because of our play, but thanks to Michael Carter Williams

That trade is looking rough. He is not good. Ennis may be much better actually

I think the best tank commander would actually be PJ. He has no clue how to play team basketball. He is a negative influence instead of someone who makes teammates better. Same profile as many players on the roster, including starters like Hendo and Al.

And the Bucks lose their 6th in a row.

Wow, Bucks game winner in a big playoff seeding game.

Can Noah and PJ be co-tank commanders? Tanks need two people to work right?
