Zeller moves very fluidly. He needs to add some weight, and he could be the next Bogut, but healthy. I would take that for sure.

Noel didn't seem interested and didn't make hustle plays when I was watching him and the Bobcats at the same time. I don't think the passion is there for him to learn to be a great offensive center. Again its only one game.

Don't see much Bogut in Zeller. I'd say LaMarcus Aldridge is a better look personally

That Len vs Noel match up was interesting. Len is a goofy dude, he looks really mechanical and Shawn Bradley-esque then suddenly he'll pull a nice reverse layup that makes you wonder where the hell that came from.

I watched a little of the Baylor game, Isaiah Austin has really put on some weight since his HS days. He looks like a legit NBA C now. He's kind of slow and plays a little small but if his game matures he could be a HIbbert-esque steal in the draft.

If Isaiah's game matures he's going top 5. Haven't seen him but scouts were very intrigued with him and all the things you said were their issues with him.

Piston fans are beginning to get nervous about the future pick they owe us.

Humors me.

I never looked at the Gordon trade thread on the Pistons board before today, and I'm kind of amazed at how many Detroit fans thought we lost that trade. Now, it's still early, and that trade could work out fine for Detroit, but there is literally no way for us to lose that trade. It either works out for both of us, doesn't change anything, or we get the much better end.
Humble yourself.

Pistons front office and fans have been trying to fit a square peg in a round hole for years by attempting and expecting to make Rodney Stuckey a All-Star caliber franchise player. Talk about a epic failure.

I thought it was a bad trade for us at first. Then I found our their first round pick was involved.

I always thought the trade was a goodone. If our guys continue to improve the way they have been lately the trade was genius! All of us expected to be in the lottery next year. The way our guys are improving we may make the playoffs next year! If that happens we will be replacing our midround pick to the Bulls with the Piston's lottery pick! If that happens Rich Cho is going to look like the love Child of Red Aubach and Albert Einstein!

Anyone catch the Duke game last night? I got to say I was impressed with Nerlens and Poythress. I had no idea that Nerlens was that good a passer and that Alex was such an elite level athlete. The 2013 draft is looking better and better every night.

I watched the game last night and I have been advocating for Nerlens Noel becoming a Charlotte Bobcat, but he's falling out of the top 3 pick conversation for me. If we get a top 3 pick I would much rather draft Cody Zeller or Shabazz Muhammad right now. I'm sure that another prospect will put his name in that conversation by March Madness as well.

I wasn't, and haven't been impressed by Noel at all. He had Josh Hairston guarding him during a lengthy spurt and hes 6'7 at best. Poythress is an athletic marvel.

To be honest Hairston probably guarded Noel better than Plumley did. Mason fouled out remember. Most of the great plays Noel made including his two assists happened with Mason in the game. As for Poythress give that kid an nba level coach, and he is ready to contribute at the next level almost immediately.

If this team keeps playing the way they are now we will not be picking high enough for any of the three. It may soon be time to start discussing the players five through twelve.

If that's the case then I'm OK with Isaiah Austin. Otherwise we better find a trade package for Jeremy Lamb

No. We need to find a trade package for that Toronto pick OKC's got before everyone realizes that team is utter garbage. I thought they'd be competing for the playoffs, but I've watched bits and pieces (and nearly one full game) of the Raptors this season. They are complete garbage. If this season keeps up the way it's going, their pick is going to be better than ours.

I know it's prematurely early but I want Aaric Murray in the 2nd round. I like his game, and he should be able to fly under the radar on a underwhelming WVU team this year.

Realizing this could easily change, but as of right now we don't have a second rounder, correct?

2nd to OKC for Mully
OKC to Boston as Jeff Green compensation
Boston to Houston in Courney Lee trade
Back to OKC in Harden trade

Or is that pick further in the future?

Wow. That Toronto pick that OKC got is only top 2 protected. If such a trade package is possible to intrigue Presti, I guess the question come down to if you'd rather draft Shabazz or deal for Lamb. Personally, I think Lamb's skill set would complement Kemba & MKG better, but I wouldn't mind seeing Shabazz in a Bobcats uniform.
