I like no guard is smaller than 6-3. And for SL purposes I like that team, seem quite deep, including two more legit centers.

Pretty good looking squad. Weak in the PG position but I doubt we're looking to add one anyway. I forgot about Deron Washington, I'm a little surprised he couldn't find a nba gig last year.

I assume the Summer League team will look something like this....

Triche-Gaddy- Dyson-Barbour
Taylor- Daniels- McGruder
MKG- Washington
Zeller- Skeen- Ewing Jr
Biz- Sims- Jones

Taylor starting at 2 cramps things, but I am sure he will see plenty of minutes at the 3 behind MKG, so that opens up minutes for all those combo guards.....

Abdul Gaddy may have been a disappointment at Washington as a highly touted recruit but I believe he has some potential to be a good defensive PG in the pros with his size. I hope he make that his niche during summer league and try to impress the coaching staff in that area. The other guy that I'm happy to see on our summer league is Henry Sims. I always thought Sims was a very skilled big at Georgetown in his latter years and was on the bandwagon of us calling him up from the D-League last season.

This year's summer league team is going to be a lot of fun for me to watch. I'm intrigued to tune in to see players likely to be in the starting lineup and off the bench from of course MKG, Biz, JT, and Zeller to Triche, Daniels, McGruder, Skeen, and the other 2 aforementioned guys.

I can't tell if Carter-Williams is playing well or just chucking. He's scoring a lot but he's missing a lot and is turning it over like crazy

Yeah, he's really impressed me so far.

Oladipo has played well but he isn't a point guard. Still fun to see him try though.

Rodney McGruder is also playing for the Magic summer league team, as well as the Bobcats. He is having a decent game right now, with 10 points in 10 minutes...

Also, Mo Harkless has not impressed at all. If I didnt know who he was, I would guess he was not making the team.

I said it before, and I'm going to say it again, Kelly Olynyk is really going to impress people at the pro level. The kid has skills. His offense will translate, and he's a smart enough player to understand defensive positioning. He's just not going to be anything flashy, and neither will he be able to play above the rim for dunks or blocked shots, but he'll be productive. I wish OKC would've taken Olynyk instead of Steven Adams at 12th overall, but we'll see what Adams got. My jury is still out on Adams

Oladipos shooting looked good but yes he has a LOT of work to do if they want him to be a PG. a lot of even small simple passes and bounce passes around the perimeter were off target and had guys fumbling the catches. looked pretty good. Olynyk was nice. don't think he can do anything like that against NBA front courts though

Oladipo looked fine as a PG. I mean he wasn't no CP3 but who expected him to be?! That's the reason why the Magic are allowing him to tone up on those skills, to get better. Oladipo had 18 points, 7 assist, and 6 boards. He looked good to me. Same for Olynyk.
