No. I'd say passable defense. Hendo levels.

Yeah, this is what I expected. The fact that PJ's troubling past is a 2-3 hour drive away from Charlotte all but removes him from being drafted by Charlotte. You can basically lock this thread IMO.

Thanks, I am pretty sure you have seen him more than anyone here and these guys saying he is Great defender is laughable. As for the last part of your post that definitely doesn't sound like a "Cho guy".

Not really interested in PJ anyway.

Im very interested in Hairston at 24. With a pick that late you look to draft a role player at best. Why not swing for the fences?

Ain't no swinging for the fences with Hairston. Lol. He's a 3&D player in the league without the D yet. He gonna be like Jared Dudley or something, watch. Of course he's a better shooter than Dudley though. How about a bigger Marcus Thornton? That sound about right. No home runs with PJ. Just a base hit maybe if he can stay out of trouble.

I am more than happy with a Jared Dudley pick at 24. Thrilled, actually. And Hairston can be better.

Thanks for making my point for me. I wish we would have kept Dudley.

Of course he would be a decent pick at #24 but not if we use #9 on a SG because we'd have a super duper logjam. I'd rather take TJ Warren if he's available at #24 than PJ.

I don't know if you follow the Bobcats on Facebook... But a lot of people are actually strongly considering PJ Hairston at #9... Too many of them...

Just Tar Heel fans. Pay it no never mind. Jordan is reluctant to reach on a fellow UNC player because he'd receive all of the backlash if that player fail even if it's not completely his fault. Cho isn't drafting Hairston at #9 for a variety of reasons, and it's skeptical if he'd even take him at #24 if he fell there if you ask me

P.J. Hairston: Hairston didn't really help himself at the draft combine. It had nothing to do with his interviews which, by most accounts, he passed just fine. It was his somewhat lackadaisical approach to the drills that hurt him. Scouts who have watched Hairston long enough know that he, like Warren, comes alive when the game begins. But for a guy who needed an image overhaul, the draft combine didn't help. Hairston's range is between No. 13 to the Timberwolves to No. 25 to the Rockets.

I feel like this franchise has wasted way to many picks on these UNC guys and while his D-League play as well as his workouts have been impressive, I'm not so sure we should gamble on him.

I'm not interested in Hairston unless they neglect to draft a shooting wing at #9 & he fall to #24, and even then I might consider looking at Jordan Adams over him since he's a more versatile scorer and a better defender. At #24, Hairston should definitely be in play if he's available, but certainly not at #9

I dont think it's a gamble to get a proven scorer with NBA size and good athletcism. This guy is in my top 3 with Young and Harris. We need a SG that can shoot and he can definitely do that and he's more seasoned than aot of the other SGs in the draft.

I know that a lot of this board and elsewhere dogs on Felton, but he was a serviceable player and certainly not a bust. Sean May on the otherhand...

I'd put Stauskas infront of Harris on my top SG but really to each his own in this case. It's still a gamble on this guy considering his NCAA ban which brought him to the D-League in the first place. His intangibles are what bothers me, I'm not denying the kid cant ball.
