The size of d-league contracts are a joke. It really needs to be addressed next summer when they likely renegotiate the CBA. Otherwise, the large majority of the guys on this team will be playing overseas next year. One, max two have a chance of getting a contract from us.

No shiny, new rookie for us to latch onto, but I'm actually intrigued by our roster. I would love to finally be on the receiving end of a diamond-in-the-rough cinderella story (looking at you John Brown), will be personally rooting for the UNCC banger, and would love to see Quarterman show flashes and be developed on the Swarm. Plus, Goodluck blocking shots and air balling FT's. What's not to like?

Of course, a showing by Harrison strong enough to crack the rotation would sort of be like having a rook. Right? Right?

i recognize the names of like 3 of these fools. And I know the basketball ability of like 0 of them. Not even a single player here is a lock or even likely to make a roster.

Why are there no rookies playing in the OKC Vs Dallas SL game?

There's no Hammons, no Sabonis...

So, Gabe York might not be terrible.

And why isnt Jorge out here playing? Seems like he could use some more summer league.

I remember the last few years being super exited over summer league (MKG, Zeler, Frank even Vonleh) now we don't have a single roster guy other than harrison ( and he is terrible) playing

Sadly, after Marvin takes up all our remaining cap space, we might need Harrison to be a rotation player.

It's painful to watch... And the monotonic voice of the commentators is not helping...
