Rich left his fridge open, and Vlade just took a sandwich.

Only sense I can make of that deal from Charlotte view is preferring cost certainty of Marco over whatever C. Lee gets. But for No. 22...

You skipped work for Marco Bellineli #OrderPizza

Yeah, kinda puts a sour end to a fantastic day off.

Unfortunately I think CLee was gone regardless. That $11M cap hold is tough.

What time did you start getting hammered?

Based on your satisfaction I'm guessing you ripped the top off the 1st one around 11:00am?

I'd do back flips if we can find a way to move Lamb for a 2nd round pick. I mean, if Marco can get #22, certainly Lamb, the crappier version of Marco is worth a 2nd, right?

I don't like this trade but I envisioned something similarly disappointing like drafting Malik Beasley, Malachi Richardson, or some off brand tall white foreigner that ain't ready for the NBA.

This situation should be better for him.

If Hornets didn't have Lamb already, I would think this is a good move. What they can do are similar.
Maybe Belinelli defends better? But Lamb is younger.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

I'm fine with #Hornets trading No. 22 pick for Marco Belinelli. No. 22 is a crapshoot. At least w/ Belinelli u get a 38 pct 3-pt shooter.

What's interesting is that we made this move so early instead of waiting to force a higher package later in the night or seeing if we preferred who fell.

I think we just really like Belinelli.

Don't panic over this this deal for #Hornets. They understand they can't bring back all 5 FA's - this is cheap deal for vet to lessen blow.

Like this makes zero sense.

whichever wing we could've picked at #22 is an even cheaper deal to lessen the blow while also giving the team potential for improvement down the line. I'm sure there's more than a few guys available that can provide 30% from three while also saving money to give to whichever FAs we keep.

Or at the bare minimum, wait until our pick comes up so we can see who's on the board before we trade the damn pick.

Shut the **** up Percy

Maybe move Lamb for an early 2nd? If the end result is like Lamb + 22 for Marco + 36ish wouldn't be so bad.

At least we don't have to worry about drafting a terrible defensive wing with bad knees now. We just traded our pick for a terrible defensive wing who doesn't even bend his knees. #Championship!

Is there more to the deal? Other ancillary assets changing hands? Or is it just a straight #22 for Belinelli?

Worst-case scenario, they're prepping for life without Lee. Best-case scenario, they're adding depth because they've found a taker for Lamb.
