Same here! I heard a podcast within the last few months and the guys had attended a UK game live and they said Monk would be a better pro than Fox, of course then I thought we had no shot to draft him! Clifford winning meaningless games doesn't even matter now, I'm so happy, someone pinch me!

Looks like I'll be defending Monk like I had to defend Kemba for the next 3 years until he become a all-star. Looking at the some on the board and mods reactions not everyone is too fond of him like I am. I like that tho.

Im pumped. Cant believe he slipped this far. Great value. I think hes got more upside than most people realize.

Curry was a shooter with limited pg ballhandling and defensive question marks. Dont need a lot of defense out of his spot just need to be passable if he is a lethal shooter offensively.

Jesus Shuttlesworth is one of my favorite players ever.

From the five-ten UK games I saw him play, he has a quick release (I mean lightning quick). Like the defender goes to try to get a hand in his face and the balls already released.

That lightning quick release is what makes Curry so deadly (and same for Allen before him). He only needs an instant and an inch to get his shot off.

I just hope he is nowhere close to Nick Young (mentality & basket iq wise).

He seems to be a better fit to Batum than to Kemba at least on the paper. Not sure if it's good news for Kemba overall (ie if Howard starts and set screens, or in p&r situations.., unless Clifford create pnr situations with forwards seting screens for Kemba).

I am so happy Monk fell to us, I really didn't think we had a shot at him but his shooting threat is exactly the type of player we've been chasing the last few years with Gary Neal, Mo Williams and Belli. If Clifford gives Monk a bit of faith he can most likely be a big upgrade, in time, over any of those guys. And hey, if he's even better than a super 6th man that's just icing on the cake imo. We needed a sharpshooting guard and we got the best shooter in this draft, that's a great get.
