Honestly all the new guys did, which makes me wonder if the fall off might have something to do with them just hitting a wall

I'd have given Poku a run last night in short bursts with how big the Bucks were

16 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds for Poku in his debut.

i only watched a few minutes but he looked winded, his defense was below average and got beat on rebounding a fair bit.

hes definitely interesting, but g league is definitely the spot for him at the moment.

It may be possible that Poku takes over the Bertans minutes we're seeing right now. 16M is a little salty for Bertans, considering he can only play niche minutes due to being a turnstile defensively. Poku could operate in a similar function at bargain bin pricing.

I feel like Poku and Bertans are thriving with Cliff playing them more as wings instead of bigs like OKC was trying to use them.

Is it just me or does Poku feel like he could be 6-9 when you watch him instead of 7 feet

He definitely seems more like a 6’9 wing

Poku is one of the few bigs we've ever had who can actually move with the ball and not trip over his own feet. He looks pretty smooth and fluid actually. I think his biggest issue is he's just rail thin and would benefit from adding weight. But dude is 7ft and looks like a wing. Absolutely a prospect worth keeping for a few years to try and continue developing. He's done well in his playing time and I think he's in the rotation for a reason.

Poku is still 22? I think that's right. If he develops to his capacity or near, he's gonna be a gem. He's shown flashes.

Jealous you guys stole Poku. Wanted the Blazers to get him.

I am still a believer. Dont see a star but he has the talent to be a unique utility forward that does a bit of everything. Think his defense is underrated as well. Dont think he ever manages to bulk munch sadly though.

The steady improvement of the 4 OKC players is a testament to their underlying talent.

I want to be careful not to dismiss them as less talented necessarily than all of the players retained by OKC. So talent is one difference between SGA and Micic, but fit is a factor in a final decision between Micic vs. I. Joe for example. Mann is immensely more talented than Aaron Wiggins in my opinion. Poku is more talented than Jaylin Williams. Poku just has no business playing center. He is so far ahead of Thor it's astounding.

So for Charlotte, Poku is better fitting and more talented than the player he could replace.

The Thunder kept their high end talent while cutting the 4 loose partially due to fit on the back end of their roster.

It's becoming clear to me, Micic needed NBA reps in order to unlock his command of the floor learned in a weaker league. Micic and Poku are looking better and better, but OKC wasn't going to let them cost wins.

I'm glad we did. The value of Micic, Mann, Poku...

It's really spiking. And the cost? Gordon Hayward.

Plus we got 2 second round picks and an awesome clubhouse guy unafraid of the big shot in the Latvian Laser.

It's such a fun group, however funky.

Love all 3 I think they all have a future here. Before we signed poku I was vocal on here about wanting to try him out. I'm glad we did he's got some talent and isn't fully unlocked yet. He's only a year older than Brandon miller. Not the same kind of prospect but he cam be an above average role player.
