this team is so up and down. miss lay ups, defensive rebounds and make stupid turnovers then blaze back into it.
and its not just the youth.

Re: GT: Hornets vs Cavs Nov 17 6pm
was just saying in the other game thread I think Miles is our most important player in some ways. We aren't going to get anyone better unless we tank for Flag, so him being a good scorer and rebounder helps this team a ton.
We know what we have in Ball, Miller and Miles are our best bet at getting talent beside him.

Team isn't going to do much of anything until Miller gets his **** together

Melo now leading the league in FGA.
I don't understand this team. Miller/Bridges have to step up as the #2/#3 scoring options. You can't have Melo leading the league in FGA's.

Hot take: We would've won if Melo didn't chuck so much. He was terrible most of this game.

This team isn't balanced at all. We've somehow recreated the Kemba teams but with 2X the talent level.
This game we made 20 3's. Got 16 offensive rebounds. And had 34 assists to only 9 TO's... and we lost by 14.

Good effort but really weird watch.
Caught fire from 3 but never felt close. Our PNR defense and rim protection doesn’t exist.
Miller is not good this year. Lee’s offense is just a 3 point chuck dice roll.
Salaun sucks. Micic sucks. We don’t have the talent to win games like this.

Would've lost by 30 if he didnt.

I have to admit, I'm incredibly frustrated with Brandon. It's not just that he's not hitting shots, he looks so hesitant and indecisive. I don't get it.

Re: GT: Hornets vs Cavs Nov 17 6pm
We have a big doughnut hole on the front line…so it’s hard for a dog to play on three legs.
Melo and Miller forcing it all the time. ISO ball because the passing game is cut off at the knees, everything is outside perimeter. Where is effective screening? Hell, Cody Zeller could help THIS team right now.
It was amazing to even be within arms length during the 4th, but Cleveland killed us inside at the rim. Felt like they were toying with us. Salaun is so ineffective…he needs G League as soon as possible…and stay there. The kid is 2 years from playing impactful NBA minutes. But….we ain’t got nuthin else right now I suppose.

I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
