How crazy is the first home game of the season going to be? I wonder who we're going to get scheduled against? Personally, I hope it's either the Pelicans or the Heat.

It is going to be insane, I just hope it is on a Saturday, I know Friday is the night for the home opener a lot but I think we have opened on a Saturday night before.

I just hope we don't do like we did this year and lead the league in back to backs just to cater to the weekend crowd. Thats a huge disservice to the players.

That did suck but since we are not the laughing stock anymore hopefully that is over.

Still getting used to the name change. When I read the Wiretap headline "Hornets To Likely Target Wing Shooting In Draft", I was thinking of guys who would be a good fit next to Jrue Holiday and Anthony Davis

Sad as it sounds, the first thing I thought of was "New Orleans doesn't have a pick. Which idiot wrote this article?"

Maybe that is how they will look when the league adds advertising on jerseys.

Lord, I hope not. Ads on jerseys are my biggest potential fear of the Silver era. Even bigger than that stupid draft wheel proposal.

I don't like it either but I am afraid it is going to happen and sooner rather than later.

I feel like this has been answered before, but does anyone know when they're going to start selling the new Hornet's jerseys?

I am happy you guys took back the Hornets name for your team, growing up on late 80's and 90's nba ball the Hornets in Charlotte are just as important to the leagues history as any other team.

Your home opener is going to be wild !

Watching that one for sure.
