Not sure who he is but it does seem like it is between us and the Lakers. I read on a more reliable tweet that the Bulls think Lance is out of their price range.

Ah hell. Last thing I want to do is get in a battle with the Lakers. Even if they've been horrid its still the Lakers

^Same, It has me kind of worried. Maybe they will back off at his price and he will meet us in the middle or at least nowhere near a max offer.

Nothing against Cho, but we all know that Stephenson isn't a 'Cho guy', but I think Cho has some interest in him from a analytical standpoint. However I think Stephenson is Jordan's personal pet that he'd like to take on in Charlotte. I've thought this from the beginning, and all of these reports regarding Jordan having firsthand interest make it even more piquing

Kemba was also an MJ mancrush. Hopefully Lance turns out as beneficial to our team.

Every game vs the Heat (if they stay together) will probably be on Natiional tv so that is a good thing and to your Cho Guy point, Hairston didn't fit that mold either.

I really believe Lance will make a Harden-lite leap when he leaves the Pacers. 20/5/5 in his first year with his new team. We so desperately need a guy who isn't afraid of anything and wants to be a superstar. I love Kemba and Al but they don't have the passion Lance does.

Cho moves silent so hopefully they have set up the meeting already.

I've been watching some Stephenson footage and he's growing on me.

His propensity to dribble into traffic is Gordonesque though, which is terrifying.

If Lance were to choose the Lakers over us, it becomes all about him versus the team, which leaves me satisfied that he was not here. I would be disappointed, sure. But our chemistry and trajectory does require someone to buy in to the objective. I know Lance can be the key to our future, but it's our team concept that will win the day...not a Kobe-centric model.

Why would Lance want to be in the shadow of Kobe? They are going nowhere next year, and likely the year after. Playing in the west, with a poor supporting cast, is not comparable to where the Hornets stand today and into tomorrow. I've got to believe MJ will have a strong influence on his decision.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

:o :noway: :noway: :noway:  First of all ..It's obvious Birds fed up with him ....Now signing CJ Miles to 4 years 18 million. For Lance its Bye Bye Pacers...Think about it..What teams would be interested in him?
I hope Melo goes to Houston or Chicago. If so I see Lance going to LAL or NYK..If Melo stays in NYK then, God Help us, :banghead: he's probably coming here. So much for team Chemistry!

So a guy named Incarcerated Bob is breaking all Stephenson and Hornets related news, while Bonnell simply refuses it because he doesn't like the idea of Stephenson being on the team?

while the Lakers and Bulls are going after Melo (our 2 top competitors for Lance) we should put on offer on the table, maybe 4 years 44 million
