wish we'd done something more than just 2nds for Willy, as this team probably does need a shakeup, but I'll take this outcome over one where we dump Kemba for trash and a 10th pick

So CLE got Rodney Hood George Hill Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.
Suns get Elfrid Peyton for one 2nd Rd pick
We trade 2 second round picks for third string C.
This team's mgmt just lacks imagination. It's like they're afraid to try

This is one time where I appreciate their fear of trying

That said, I strongly disagreed with LA's giving up JC for IT. Trying is not always the smart play.

Hopefully Cho will be fired and we can bring in a new GM next season.

We have to go through this same torture this offseason. If not Kemba moved, somebody is going have to go.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

We don’t have the cap space to absorb elf like Phoenix did, so I doubt he was ever an option

I'm happy we stood pat. Now let's replace Cliff/Cho in the summer and go from there.

I don’t think it’s a matter of giving up on Clarkson for IT. They just wanted his $12.5 million per year contract off the books so they could go after LeBron and Paul George with no cap hold so they traded for IT’s expiring.

I know. I just liked Clarkson and appreciated having a guard who was also a great shooter.

Standing pat was likely the right decision. Unfortunately, it was also the most boring one. Hope we start winning, because watching this team is starting to become a chore.

At least we have Duke @ UNC tonight, maybe it will go into triple overtime. *I think I just had a stroke at the thought of the drama.*

reading Orlando fan's response to the trade and I didn't realise how badly Elf had been playing. His defence has been crap this year as well, I now see how someone called him worse then MCW.

He’s been overrated since the draft combine. At no point did he ever look like a legit starting PG. He was a bust to a lesser extent since he wasn’t drafted early.

I never understood why the Magic traded Oladipo tho.

yeah I was reading opinions on that as well. was pointed out that they could've traded for Teague with their draft pick instead of Ibaka and still kept Oladipo. Allowed Gordon to play Pf and been a better team.

Fans mentioned that Elf in 2014-15 played with hustle and effort, which made him a decent defender who could play a role in the league. He then gave up caring.

Can you imagine if MKG ever gave up putting in the extra effort? it would be attrocious. If a hustle player stops trying, I just assume they don't want to be in the league.

Joe Johnson will be waived, can we use him as a backup forward/ball handler since Clifford won't play Batum with the bench?
