We traded away one of the two SF's we've had. We now have Henderson, Gordon, and Carroll at SG.
The depth chart looks something like this.

PG- DJ - Kemba - Higgins
SG- Henderson - Gordon - Carroll
SF - UPS
PF - Mullens - White - Tyrus - Najera
C - Biyombo - Diop

Ben Gordon had a nice contract he got with the Pistons, I don't know the exact numbers, but we got a streaky 3 shooter who brings little else to the table and doing so we left a hole at the SF position. I doubt we see a DJ/Kemba and Ben Gordon starting backcourt, that would be probably the smallest backcourt in the league. I think this is a sign that the Bobcats are gonna get Barnes with the second pick.

Lol. That is exactly what will happen. Just like with Kevin Love and OJ Mayo a few years back. We will pick for a team and a team will pick for us.

We're ending up with T-Rob or Barnes, you can take that to the bank

I'm starting to get the strangest feeling that we keep the pick and take MKG, which I would not like. I'd root like hek for MKG but I think he will be a borderline starter at best.

I love that this makes it look like a SF at our pick. I was getting really scared we would waste it on Robinson.

That shouldn't be surprising. He is the better player.

I think if we trade the 2 we have to do it this way, because it's possible we will give next years pick to Chicago, and the NBA has a rule you can't trade your first round pick two years in a row.
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

Unless Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook come to play for Charlotte that pick we owe Chicago is staying with us for at least two more years

True. I was reading on the Cavs board where Beal totally wrecked him in the workout. Barnes couldn't move laterally quick enough to guard him.

obvious smokescreen on clevelands part. besides Barnes had a great workout here, what happened in cleveland is irrelevant

I wouldn't say it's irrelevant in the grand scheme. It's very telling of the two players.

Who did Barnes go against in his workout here? CJ Williams?

From what he and Dunlap said it basically sounded like Dunlap ran the living hell out of him in a 3 on 3 full court game.

Oh, and I guess they saw how many times he could dunk a ball in one minute, but no one on one workout against a top prospect.

Not sure what you can get from his workout here. He went against a bunch of 2nd rd prospects.

Where are these reports? I've been looking for details of that workout for days. All I heard up until now is that both players impressed with Beal getting the slight edge
