It was really tough turning down some of the more ball dominant guards that are available to make this pick, but yeah I figure if you stack four guys in your starting lineup that average 18+ FGA per game with high usage, that's not going to go well, and LBJ is so much better when he's controlling everything. Trying to put guys together whose games work together.

I'm pretty stoked for my next pick even though I think it's a questionable pick. Will be really surprised if he's sniped.

Nice!!! My guy is still available. I'm taking a similar pick to what YB just did. Magic and Malone need a deadly 3pt shooter who can spread the floor for them, so why not take one of the greatest 3pt shooters in the history of the league, a guy who knows how to hit big shots, knows how to win championships, knows how to sacrifice stats to mesh on a superteam.

Team Fats selects Ray Allen, 2008-2009, Closer.

18.2ppg (sacrificed his scoring while playing next to Pierce and Garnett)
48%, 41% (on 6.2 attempts per game), 95%, TS% of 62.4%
All-Star Game

Ray also is a solid ball handler and passer for a shooting guard and will fit perfectly in an uptempo team looking to run and pass.

Give me Ray Allen over Reggie Miller all day long. :)

Ray goes for 29 in the 2008 finals, a few months before 2008-09 season. This is the player Team Fats is adding next to Magic and Malone.

Team Fat

Magic Johnson
Karl Malone
Ray Allen

Positions to be determined

What are the chances Diop and Ian are still awake?

Diop's got Kareem and Bird, we should just skip him this round.

How far are Ian and Diops times off? Was gonna say Ian could give Fats three guys he wants ranked so if he's asleep when Diop picks we can keep it moving.

I've got the dominant inside presence, I have one of the greatest shooters, now I'm going to add one of the great slashers with Dwayne "please punch me in the face" Wade with stone hands pick.
06/07 year where he averaged 27.4 pts, 7.5 assts, 4.7 bds, 2.1 steals and 1.2 blks. Just doing it on both ends.

Wade has shown the ability to play with great players at Miami and the olympics, his drive to win will fit nicely with Bird and Lew

Somebody needed to do it. I was close, but couldn't (1) on principal because I refuse to have both DWade and LeBron on my team, and (2) because DWade only played in 50 games that season.

Ian and Diop, if you guys can get your 3rd and 4th round picks in, that would be spectacular.

He was healthy at the important time, the finals. Support cast was awful though apart from shaq

just to check, does this mean they have to be at least 6'10??

Yeah, 6'10" as minimum height.

Yeah, 6'10" as minimum height.

Bugged, otherwise ak47 had a great "stiff" season
