I’ve moved Tre above Ace, I think the Hornets will just pick whoever is left from VJ and Tre unless they move back and get a Herb Jones or Claxton

Tonight should be a easy decision. If Ace is available take him point blank. He's considered the 3rd best prospect by most.

If Brooklyn or New Orleans want him they will have to prove it and offer us a great deal. If not we just keep him.

I'm tired of this franchise getting screwed in the draft. It's time we stand up to the bullies!

Don't let this kid punk us out of selecting him. He's done nothing in this league to get that kind of power.

Select Ace figure out the rest later

Saw someone earlier say he’s just a taller Jalen Green and it’s hard to get that comp out of my head now

Ace had worked out for wiz. Now we know where he really wants to go. We suspected wiz or nets.
He can shoot 25x a game with wiz.
At least they have some good vets there now.

So if they want him, come get him. Make an offer.

If it wasn't for the fact he looks like LeBron in transition with those chasedown blocks then I would agree with you. He's just a complete wildcard.

I would be happy with Ace. Is it a risk, yes. But the talent is there and with NBA spacing and playing with LaMelo, and not trying to force too much on him at one time, he will be okay. He has franchise player talent if he puts it together.

Well…DraftExpress is posting on X that Ace’s camp communicated he did not want to be drafted by the Hornets or Jazz. His desired targets are still the Pelicans, Nets or Wizards per X post from Legion Hoops.

So…who’s lying?
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I think ace and his camp are at least smart enough not to say the quiet part out loud in an interview an hour before the draft starts

Fine with the pick but would have preferred a trade down if available. Hopefully they got the guy they wanted and he is more than that.
I think the ball moves much better with Kon.
Floor spreader too.

Bro tried to flex where he goes and ended up in the last place he wanted. There is some lesson about greed or hubris or something in here.

All the more reason I’m glad we didn’t take him. Like buzzin said he literally is about to have tears come down his face because of where he was drafted. Talk about entitled.
