Yeah I was one of those posters. Beginning to regret it already.

I also have a Big East bias. If you look back on the draft thread, I was pushing for MCW with the POR pick. It wasn't meant to be. I saw him as a replacement for Sessions. Again, many fans didn't want to change anything about his spot. People are slow to change in general and fans grow attached to players.

Same here to a similar degree. I became a UConn fan immediately after they recruited Khalid El-Amin & pretty much rode the wave of those 3 national championships. I definitely wanted Drummond to land with the Bobcats, but I also liked MKG as a consolation so either or was fine by me. I also was hoping that the Bobcats could make a trade for Lamb to supplant Henderson as the SG of the future, but I think that boat has sailed

I don"t think MCW would have had his breakout with Charlotte... He would not have seen the floor so much and not given so many responsibilities...

I've always had the impression that several posters here are really just Kemba Walker fans. Kind of like the Stack Jack fan that posted here, or the Boris Diaw fan. It's why Rudy Gay and Jeremy Lamb have been discussed an irrational amount on this board.

Don't forget the D.J. Augustin fan that posted here. I think his name was 'ballwhore' or something like that. I'll be the first to tell you that I'm not an eternal Bobcats fan, but I follow the team a great amount and have adopted a passion for them to win, whether it's a actual game or acquiring the best player

The Rudy Gay trade proposals actually arose from reports that Cho was "aggressively pursuing" him around the trade deadline of last season. The Jeremy Lamb trade proposals may have a little bit of UConn implications, but mostly due to the fact that he & Kemba played well enough alongside each other in the backcourt that it lead to a national championship. I still think Lamb is a better option than Gerald Henderson, but it'll likely cost too much to obtain him as always been the case

I think Kemba should be the only untouchable. Sessions should be traded he's likely gone to a contender in the off season . What crappy contract you guys think we will target for a first with Gordon's expiring?

I think Cho would be smart to just let Gordon's expiring contract simply expire instead of trying to trade it away for late lottery picks. First round picks are overvalued unless you're a team that's patient enough to take one with protection in hopes that the team that you got it from fall apart by the time the protection wears off. The Bobcats don't have many options as far as trade possibilities that'll net a better prospect in the barter unless they plan on including at least one the 1st rounders that they own from Portland or Detroit

I'd just be happy with OKC's first round pick for Sessions. We should just concentrate on hoarding first round picks for this upcoming draft. There's no excuse not to move an expiring player with value.

It disgusts me no GM was stupid enough to take Henderson this past deadline, not even for a late first rounder. But now we know just how smart those GM's are. But that's another story...

OKC has to have a better backup for Westbrook if they want to hedge against another injury and advance deep.

Trading Sessions would just be stupid. You don't trade away one of the best backups in the league for mediocre draft picks. And I doubt he will leave to go to a contender. He left the Lakers (who at the time were considered contenders) to come to our lowly team

A random, speculative thought - if Chicago is stumbling around December wonder if they would consider Deng and Butler for MKG, Hendo and either DET or POR pick?

If they don't show well this year, Deng is as good as gone this summer. I know they love Butler, and he would be the prize on our end. Obviously Deng/Butler have more value than Hendo/MKG, but a potential 2014 lottery pick could even things out.

Hmmm...

I have a sneaking suspicion that Dengs expiring will be traded to Toronto for Gay.

I wouldn't even do this trade MPM.

Deng would walk on us and this would essentially leave us handing out MKG and a first for 25 year old Jimmy Butler.

I also think that we will offer Gordon Hayward and incredible amount of money in free agency. He would fit perfectly here.

If Sessions is willing to come back on the same type of deal ($5MM annually), I'm all for it. Not only because he's one of the NBA's better sixth men, but we need insurance just in case Kemba's asking price gets too high (in other words, eight figures per year).
Humble yourself.
