This sucks...but him and Henderson are smart enough to know we would probably package them in draft night trades if they were to opt in before

I am curious if there are limits to when you can make an opt in date. If there were not I would make the date before the draft so I could move a guy if I wanted.

Haha yea I'd try that too but u know that no agent would go for that...unless their client was a scrub

You forgot the in your opinion part.

I've probably disagreed with Braggins and jdm3 the most on this whole board and neither are douchebags.

You might be for calling them that though.

Greetings from Washington, Hornet fans.

I wanted to inquire about the availability of Cody Zeller.

We have our #19 pick to offer, as well as Nene's large expiring contract.

I've skimmed and seen a bunch of Hezonja discussion. The WIzards hold the right to his Barca teammate, Tomas Satoransky. Saty is three years older, but more significantly more productive across the board than Hezonja. Highlights here if you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ig8bcqPHXtM Satoransky is under contract with Barca through this upcoming season and is then likely to jump to the NBA for the 16-17 season.

Future picks could be available in the right deal.

Thanks.

I said they were being that because they kept calling each other names like moron and stupid and generally being completely condescending toward each other about the other's opinion. I did indulge in some sophomoric name calling myself to get my point across, but that was mostly intended to be ironic.

I like both Baggins and jdm and regularly engage both. I respect them enough to let them know when I think they're being immature.

If that makes me a douche bag, then I guess I've been called worse and I'll own it.

Thanks man. I appreciate you sticking up for me. I was being a douche bag, though. I don't think I generally am, but I am prone to occasional douche bagginess from time to time. I know I've had some of my biggest disagreements with you, and despite being unpleasant towards you at times, I definitely respect you and got nothing but love for you and this board in general.

I didn't think Yosemiteben calling us d-bags wasn't out of line. He isn't just another random poster and he has interacted enough with both of us to know when we are being asses and not holding up to our own standards of debate and he knows he has the respect to be able to call us out for it. I don't approve of myself when I act like a condescending prick, so I have no problem if someone who I know means well points it out. Its all good.

I don't think any of those pieces would interest us enough for Zeller. Nene wouldn't help us, with the talent up front that we have and the gameplan we'd like to run, and #19 will usually yield a pretty mediocre player equivalent to one we could pick up for the MLE. I wouldn't mind making a smaller move for Satoransky if we draft Hezonja, but it's not a guarantee by any stretch.

Zeller went to a Taylor Swift concert so as far as I'm concerned you can have him for peanuts. Seriously though, I don't think Nene's contract really does anything for Charlotte and the #19th pick is quite a trade down. I do like Satoransky though but I don't see these two teams being very good trade partners.

19 is to low and Nene wouldn't do much for us with Al.

Everyone keeps proposing us giving away #9 to move Lance to get cap space to not sign anyone significant . At least take Marvin and Roberts off our hands instead of Lance.

If he can jump to three and bump Russell to 4 that could be a huge spot for us to trade up. If we can get the guy in that top four that really fits us and can be a big piece here we have to make a move. Trading Zeller or a future first to get Russell would be a good move because of his fit and skill set.

Knicks won't trade Russell but Philly probably would since they like Mario.

Philly trades # 3 Russell
Gets #5 and drafts Mario and top 8 protected 1st from Hornets

Magic trades #5 Hezonja
Gets #9 and Zeller

Hornets trade Zeller, #9, top 8 protected 1st
Gets #3 Russell

Going to post it on the trade board. I think Magic fans will be split.

I would do it, but the negative it Calderon's contract length.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

If the team believes Gordon is a 3 then they get a 4 who can play now and could add depth at wing or big too. Maybe Frank would be a good fit with Vuc and Zeller as a third big.

I posted a trade on the Magic board that was different but basically had them getting the same pieces. Most that responded seemed into it, but there were a couple people that were convinced that Zeller was a complete scrub and wasn't even as good as their backup bigs.

Yeah, I'd do this. Jr seems on the dumb side (can't be as bad as Lance) but at least he shoots threes.
