Same her for a Chargers fan. Second year in a row when acknowledging that the season is over for San Diego, I start to miss out on the last weeks of the season and the playoffs.

What a dilemma for every American sports fan right now. Tough choice between watching the Wolves-Wizards game and the NFL playoffs.

I don't know who's having a worse off season so far, Jets fans or Chargers fans. I'm shocked they retained Norv Turner. It's like you guys have already conceded next season too.

The Jets made the Jailblazer mistake; bringing in a bunch of guys Madden style without considering chemistry and other issues. They're one of the teams that could really benefit from Robert Griffin III but I don't see that happening.

The Chargers? Well, thanks for Ron Rivera. Looks like he left at the right time because the ship sunk this year. Turner isn't great but the biggest problem is that GM; guy is a nut. At this rate, they're probably in LA within five years.

Oh my god... NBA TV is broadcasting Erie Bay Hawks against the Idaho Stampede... LIVE

Idaho has Antoine Walker (averaging 10 points per game, 3pts 11/65 for the season) while Mike "I Make Plays Happen" James (averaging 17pts, 3asts and 5turnovers) is playing the point for Erie. It looks like there are about 20 spectators attending the game. D-League basketball is simply hilarious - from the team-names, washed-up NBA players and everybody jacking up shots to the empty stands. The few minutes I watched, I enjoyed it more than a Bucks-Wizards (which would only offer entertainment as Stephen Jackson jacking threes and picking up T's and Javale McGee jumping for every pump fake) game.

I was watching that too. :lol:

There can't be more than 100-200 people there, including the players and staff. You really shouldn't play a daytime game during the week.

the sad thing is, either James or Walker could be top scorers on this team

Wouldn't that be fun to watch? Just go ahead and call up Mike James, Ricky Davis, Gerald Green, and Antonie Walker and see which one emerges as our leading scorer. That would bring the lulz.

Actually the only turd on the team is Holmes. Plaxico has been really quiet and just does his job and Cromartie is a lover not a fighter. :lol: The problem with the Jets is they just haven't drafted well the past few years and it's finally caught up to them. Tannebaum and Rex have overrated their personnel, especially on offense. Also special teams which has always been great was terrible this season. But offense they need a complete overhaul. Only player I like on offense is Mangold, even D-Brick was mediocre this season. Everyone else can GTFO. Gonna be a looooong off season. :cry:

I was watching another game today and Mikki **** Moore is playing in the D-League too. There's our new franchise center.

I guess the Bulls agree with your opinion on James.

I was so confused to see Bobcats get some attention on Inside the NBA:

They showed the highlights of our Hawks game (it had only one Cats play, but still...);
Gave Mullens a shout-out for his good start to the season;
Gave Hendo also a shout-out;
Laughed at Diaw being over-weight and even dedicated a whole segment to him not being in shape, not being consistent and his whole lack of aggression, willingness to play hard (btw, he has only attempted 2 free throws this season - a stat they also touched upon)
AND Shaq has some new dumb thing going on titled "Shaqtin' a Fool" or whatever and it basically is a montage of some of the best bloopers from the last week... poor Biz made it with his clumsy tumble from Indy

Seriously, so much Bobcats for one episode of Inside the NBA.

I'm watching the Australian Open. Not digging the blue color around the court. Looks like a swimming pool.

Driving today was fun. Had your regular crazy Interstate drivers and people heading home from being on vacation.

Oh, and large trucks taking up both lanes with a slow driver in the third lane. :(

So Jersey Shore are thinking about coming to Australia.

Gold Coast would probably suit them, but I have to think there is going to be a reasonable chance that someone tries to punch them. Situation especially, his style and act would never go down well in an Aussie pub.

Only familiar with that show because of the new episodes of Beavis and Butthead. Imagine Aussies would regulate on those goons.
