Yeah no thanks man. He's good, maybe even really good, but his contract is really bad.

I don't think Deng is worth the 2, but there was the idea of 5 for Deng on the trade board which Kings fans seemed okay with. My thought was a way for the Bobs to get involved netting us Evans while maintaining a top pick. I'm of the opinion that Evans was a really bad fit with the Kings but could still be a great player.

My only concern is both he and Kemba are ball dominating guards and need to be in order to be successful.

Sac keeps Salmons and we keep Maggette and this is something to think about. I still think we say no though. We'd like to dump Tyrus Thomas.

Not really that bad, especially if we can trade Maggs, it is only 1 extra year. If they would throw in an extra 1st down the road, I'd consider it.

#2 and maggette for deng and our future 1st back :)

what would even be more awesome is to make then take tyrus back. LOL

deng is having surgery after the olympics and expected to miss the first part of the season. who wants to trade a top 10 pick for a player who is coming off surgery and is expected to miss part of the season?

I'd trade it for Rose immediately. Beyond that, no one.

What do you all think of the 2 (+ Walker? + contract?) for Rondo? All-NBA defense, passing ability to overhaul your offense by himself (like Nash), favorable contract, championship pedigree, a young vet, high marketability and recognizability, and All-HoF if he hits his J's.

I don't think Rondo is a good fit here, but I'd probably do 2 + 31+ Walker + TT for Rondo + 22.

I'd take Rondo in a heartbeat.

Mentioned in other thread, but I think with Dunlap in as HC, we could be looking to acquire another first rounder to take Moe Harkless, assuming we don't go MKG at 2. Likely would have to jump in the 15-20 range to get Harkless.

Kemba + 31 to Houston for 14?

I'm all for Harkless.

Kemba was a number 9 pick last year. Why are you so eager to give him away for nothing?

I understand the connection, but I don't think its a given we go after him just because we signed his old coach.

Although I'm sure we would love another draft pick.

I've been watching more and more of Drummond and I think he's the real deal. Can't understand how he could ever drop to #5 or lower. He's got way to much going for him for guys like Beal, Robinson, MKG to be selected before him.

I hope the Celtics swindle the Bobcats into giving up the number 2 pick for Rondo so the Celtics can draft Drummond.

Holy hell, and I thought I was drunk on the Drummond kool-aid.

Who the hell said I'm giving him up for nothing? I honestly like the selection we can get at the end of the lottery more than Kemba. I'd trade anyone on the roster (outside of Biz) for a lottery pick in a stacked draft like this one, and Kemba is no exception.

Too early to give up on Walker.

You guys need to do a three way trade with the Bulls.

Deng and your 2013 pick for number 2.

Deng to Golden State or Toronto or Sac town(or any other mid lotto team jonesing for a Sf)

pick 5-10 plus your next year pick back > 2nd pick IMHO

especially the 5th or 6th pick which could get you a beal or Drummond who could easily be the pick at 2 anyways....

Do you honestly think we need next year's pick back? Like we won't get it anyway?
