I like Beal being compared to the Newton pick, the media etc will hate and say 2 is too high but he is just the right fit like Cam was, it is really that simple.

How is Beal compared to Cam Newton? Newton is big for his position and is built like a linebacker, thats more so T-Rob a player that plays the same position as the consensus #1 but isn't thought of as highly by scouts. did anyone notice T-Rob sounds a lot like shaq? Shaq will probably be on his nuts once he finds out  I will try to make a gif of T-Rob doing the superman too

I think MKG is more Deng. The rest I agree however T-Rob may actually be worse, my pick is Beal or trade the pick though.

I'm actually leaning toward Beal. He has a lot of Brandon Roy (healthy) in him. And again, this is a guards league and big men just don't hold value as they did 10 years ago.

An ideal scenario is to land another lottery pick somehow.

I want to like MKG, but I'm worried that his shot is going to get swatted 75% of the time with that release ..

I see the following similarities in these prospects scouting reports:

Beal/Ellis
Drummond/Howard
Robinson/Gallinari?
MKG/Granger?

The problem is we need to consider who is not moving on the roster - Biz, Mullens, Diop, Thomas which pretty much locks down C and PF ruling out Drummond and Robinson, leaving us to draft the 1, 2, and 3

THe problem with that is everyone outside of Biz is trash, so if Robinson is BPA we take him

This was basically Mully's rookie year so I wouldn't hate on him yet. I agree the rest are trash, but immovable trash. It doesn't do this team any good to have TT riding the bench. We need to develop him into someone we can keep, or do a good job giving him PT and showing that he could be useful to another team to ship him off.

Yeah, b/c we keep overrating guys for their heart/swag/motor/moxie/spunk/insert intangible attribute here and drafting them even though they suck at playing basketball.

Most mocks have T Rob going 5th for a reason, he is barely a Top 5 talent.

Top 5 at his position doesn't mean much when there are like 3 good SGs in the draft. Beal, Lamb, Ross, [big drop off] Waiters, Rivers. I mean, there are only 2 really appealing 2's in this draft and only one them has good size.

The 4th, eh? Which of his six shots were pivotal?

He's a good rebounder, has NBA size, and plays hard, so I'd have no problem with him as the pick. But let's not oversell him.

Number one option is Thomas Robinson, still, for me. A close second though is Bradley Beal. Both players I think will be very solid NBA players and likely all stars. A farther 3rd would be MKG who I think will also be a solid player, but maybe more int he Gerald Wallace mode. AKA maybe an all star appearance or two, but mainly just a solid player.

If your talking who has the potential to be the closest thing to a superstar our of Beal and Robinson, I think you have to pick Beal. Just given the fact he is a SG and not a PF I think puts him as a more viable candidate to be a "supterstar". This pick will be very interesting, but I trust Cho will make the right decision.
