You can't deny that he has gotten better since coming to the league. Offensively he has improved and the only way to do that is repition, repition, repition. I am fine with force feeding him the ball in the paint because most teams have to foul him to stop him from scoring.

^this guy gets it. You can't expect Biz to magically get better at catching the ball and scoring in traffic if you don't give him the ball. I wanted this to be a point of emphasis during both of our lost seasons the last two years and whenever we're being blown out this year we should still try and force feed him so that he can develop faster.

Biz has the fewest touches of any player in the NBA?

He gets passed to the least of any player in the NBA.

I'm not sure passing Biyombo the ball a lot is conducive to winning basketball games but I do believe we need to do so in game situations to fast track his development.

I don't know if we need to pass it to biz but the guards on this team completely ignore the big men on a regular basis

You make a great point.

Maybe it's a concerted effort from our guards to be ball hogs?

Yes sir. Bargnani is a taller Augustin on defense. Even Biz could score 10 points on him with ease. Healthy Al Jefferson matched up against Bargnani for 48 minutes? Wilt's record is no more.

It's probably a combination of both. Biz is definitely "special" on offense so not passing him the ball unless it's a no-brainer is understandable but the way our guards freeze out the other bigs when rolling to the basket or posting up with good position is also not conducive to winning basketball either.

I adored some of the McBob fake-handoff, drive-the-basket moves vs. the Raps, but would love to see him finish. Man, is he a smart bball player. I def. don't think Zeller sees enough looks, and this just isn't rookie-love - with his post finesse, there is no reason we shouldn't occasionally post him up against the Bargs and Casspi's of the world. It seems like he's been relegated to junk opportunities - no sense in that.

What bigs do the guards have to pass to? Biyombo? Zeller? McRoberts? LOL. Come on.

Big Al is the lone offensive threat of the team's post guys. If Kemba and Sessions are making shots or getting good looks, I'm not gonna bash them for not kicking it to Michael "Message Board MVP who can't shoot a jumper" Kidd-Gilchrist or Bismack Biyombo.

McRoberts had a nice game to start the season, and Kemba got him the ball. The way I see it, when the guys make plays, they deserve getting the rock but just because they're popular on here doesn't mean they need a lot of touches, nor does it mean we should keep "developing" a third-year player at the expense of what is already a subpar offense.

The "message board" has been the best overall player on the team thru 6 games. Catch a game sometime.

Novel idea. Good thing I've seen every one, even though I'm kind of an outlaw here because I don't wear my Kidd-Gilchrist or Biyombo jerseys as I watch them.

Certainly. Unlike what seems to be the prevailing concept around here, I've ascertained that you don't actually score points when you defend Biyombo or MKG in posts. However, if such a rule were to change, the Bobcats would instantly leapfrog the Heat...not that they're behind them by much in the standings now.

Apparently you haven't watched the games. Or don't understand defense. MKG has shut down two of the top 5 offensive SFs in the league while he's been on the floor while rebounding and scoring. Stop box score watching and observe an actual game.

I've said he's improved and is a good rebounder. I wish you'd pay as much attention to what I'm saying as you claim to pay attention to defense. But he's averaging 5.8 boards a game. That's not bad for a wingman, but hardly enough to get me to stuff the All-Star Game ballot box. I'll leave that to you guys
