I'd like Harkless to fill some of that void at SF if we were to get Beal

I'd think so and around where we'd be picking is where the real value is in this draft imo.

I'm not convinced Henderson would bring the value in a pick that we think he should. Better to see what team needs are and go from there. Harkless is moving up and could go as high as 11. Still, there are several good SF's available in the middle of the round.

If we take and keep Beal, then Henderson definitely becomes expendable. He's more talented than his reputation gives so we wouldn't get back a ton of value, but I think a trade of him for whatever pick gets Mo Harkless would be fine by me.

5 would mean 1/3rd of the entire round. to be fair though, several means 4 or more

Ok then (and I guess you are right, couple = 2, few = 3, several = 4 or more?)

Bassman, name 4 (or more) good SF's available in the middle of the round.

Other than Gilchrist or Barnes, Harkless is the only one that intrigues me. Perry Jones WANTS to be a SF, but probably wont be, and he has a piss poor motor anyway. If we draft Beal I expect Henderson to be gone by midnight tomorrow night.

I really don't know Harkless at all (never seen him play) but for those who know his game:

Is he really any better than UPS?

Right now I think they're about even, but in the long run I think he has a chance to be a really nice player.

15 players seems kind of a large group to be considered the "middle" of the round, don't you think? I'd consider 14-15-16-17 to be the middle.

But that's just me

It just kinda stuck out to me as odd.

If you don't care, you could always scroll past and ignore it.

I watched him one game and posted about him in the draft prospects thread just out of curiosity. I had no idea where he would project or if he'd even come out.

The first reason he stood out to me was just his physical build. He just looked like he had a NBA body. He obviously isn't an athletic dunker like DB but he is a well rounded athlete and has room to grow. He's a good rebounder and likes to get others involved. Just needs to work on his shot.

That's pretty much what I got from watching him. He has an higher upside than DB.

Sure I'll just scroll past the non-stop bickering over fractions to get to the point of the thread, seems reasonable.

Hey guys, who do like better at SF? MKG or 9/5ths? I know the latter is an improper fraction but we have the time to develop him.

Edit: Didn't Harkless play out of position as a PF at St. John's b/c they had like an 8 man roster?

I am fine with anyone but Robinson. If we pick him I have lost faith in cho already.

Who's bickering?

Now that I actually think about it. I'd call the lottery (1-14) the beginning, 15-20ish the middle, and the rest the end.

Again, just me though.

Okay, maybe it's more of a semantics circle jerk.

If you can't beat'em, join'em.

You've got the lottery, with it being high (1-5), mid (6-10), and late (10-14). Then mid 1st is like 15-20 or 22ish and the rest is late 1st. My 2 centavos.
