I wonder if we could trade Al to the Bucks if they cant get Lopez or Chandler.

If they like Lopez they should like Al too.

It makes sense. I feel like he could be a really good fit there with their defensive unit (Middleton, Giannis, and Henson are all pretty good fits with Al) and they have enough shooting to make it work.

I would trade Al for Mayo+Dudley. We get shootng, they don't add any more salary and they still have Giannis, Middleton, Jabari, cap space, and #17 to work with on the wings.

Id be into that for sure.

Would definately do this, just don't think Bucks would have any interest. If they trade Dudley and Mayo after trading Ersan, they don't have a lot of shooters left around Al.

I just don't see our front office trading Al. They seem think of him as our cornerstone.

Al and Cliff are going to get a shot at making this work. Al doesn't get dealt unless the team does poorly, then it's a trade deadline deal of some sort IMHO.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I wonder if our front office has any idea of what Henderson is planning to do. If he opts out we absolutely have to trade for some veteran wing depth. I wonder if Minnesota would be willing to trade us Martin for Williams?

Cho said in the presser tonight that he hasn't heard anything about Henderson's plans.

Well damn, I hope we're planning to replace him then if he can't even do the team the courtesy of hinting towards where he's leaning.

I was thinking it's time MJ took one for the team and traded himself And Al for Cousins.

Would make him the all time greatest owner

If Boston wants to move up to 9 I want both of their first rounders. 16th and 28th along with Wallaces huge expiring.

I don't want to move down. Hate the thought actually. But I'd ask for a decent haul.

I hate the idea of moving down as well. I would try to swing Al and 39 for Wallace and 16 (or even 28). Draft a SG at 9 and take a backup PG at 16 or 28. Retain Biz, let Mo walk, and cut Barnes.

No way I move down in this draft. We will have a choice of a couple players who could be very good, versus sliding back for some marginal talent.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Discussed upthread earlier, the idea of Big Al to the Bucks for Mayo+ is enticing. Maybe having Mayo will nudge Hendo to opt out. On the flip side, if personnel moves indicate we are leaving starter minutes wide open for Hendo, surely he will opt in and look to capitalize on the looming cap rise.

I don't get the idea of acquiring Crash from Boston. We don't need more cap space, we need more talent.

You trade Al for Crash and the 16th pick. You are doing this for that 16th pick, crash just helps make Boston say yes while offsetting salary
