Re: Offseason Thread
I like to hear that they've been playing pickup basketball this summer. I think that matters, especially in the beginning of the season.

Clifford: "This is the most talented of any team I've coached as a head coach."

Thor has been living in the weight room apparently. Maybe he should play some 5 if either Mark or Richards are out.

On paper he's right.
So if we don't make the playoffs, he should get canned.

Haha the lack of self-awareness this guy possesses is hilarious. Isn't this the same clown that was begging us all offseason to resign him and WE didn't want him
The same guy that just signed for the vet min
You are sounding like a scorned lover Kelly. Enjoy when the Philly fans work out you are a negative and turn on you.

I mean, he's not wrong, but it's a joke coming from him. The entire city is way too nice on the hornets and panthers and charlotte fc even for being awful. The local media let's these owners and front offices off the hook every year. Wedont have hope. The entire city is sports apathetic these days, for good reason.

He only weighs like 200 pounds. So 8 pounds will look like a lot.

Ignorant comment to loop in two totally different organizations on different trajectories.

Re: Offseason Thread
Cut Bouk & Kai and have players who want to be here, I do think we have the makings of a good team IF we stay free of Injuries. Dare I say it maybe a play off team.
The core's there with Lamelo, Mark, Miles, PJ, Brandon, Terry & Gordon, and then throw in the mix Richards, Thor, Smith jnr, Martin, Mcgowens & Frank. Good starting 5 and depth off the bench.

Re: Offseason Thread
Does anyone else think Mark Williams is going to be really good?
I'm not going to make any big proclamations, but I get the feeling hes going to blow expectations out of the water this season. I have very little doubt his defensive impact will be legit in time. He also actually showed a very surprising level of touch and shotmaking within 12 feet last season and his length allows him to get off shots with ease that you wouldn't expect coming from a guy that was supposed to just be a garbage man. Hes already probably not far off from being an elite lob threat in the league and hes a foul drawing machine who actually hits his free throws.
Idk, it seems like there is a lot more to his game than most of us expected and his ceiling may have been significantly underrated coming out of Duke.
