I'm disappointed by the Bailey waiver I enjoyed watching him at UCLA and given any opportunity at all think he offers decent upside

Tough break for him that we changed Front offices, new GM had no ties to him. We could see something similar with Leaky, but hard to say yet as he is still on SL roster.

Moe Wagner re-ups with ORL on a 2/22. Gotta keep that Teutonic fraternal connection going. Three players from Germany on the Magic now - Wagners and Da Silva.

Centers dwindling.

99% sure we weren't actually in the market for a center.

Richards is the guy. Cheap, solid rebounder/lob target.

We may not be but should be. We have Question Mark and Nick. If both are healthy, sure - solid two man. But health is far, far from a given and one goes down and we have to give extended mins at 5 to who? Grant? Why we signed Bolden of all people last year. (BTW, I'm assuming Bolden is gone - someone said he's on GSW's SL roster)

Pember.

On a more serious note, maybe they think Nnaji is healthy.

Or the Micic to Denver rumors for Niaji (or whoever it is) have merit.

Ha. As long as there's a third big. I'm crushing on Pember right now like the rest of us. Why not? Honestly would give us as much as DEN Nnaji.

FWIW - confirmed Bolden was released: https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/basketball/news/warriors-marques-bolden-with-golden-state-for-summer-league/

There needs to be a third (veteran) center on the roster. it's almost malpractice to trust Mark's back and Nick to carry them through an entire season

Not if you don't care about winning and you are trying to do the process 2.0

Guys/team still need to play in a consistent system to improve. That breaks down when you’re playing a 6’5” center out of necessity. Was joking about Pember but we do need a third big who knows how to play basketball

Massive roll of the dice. Love Isaac when he's healthy though.

I wonder if we’re going to throw some money at Thomas Bryant. I believe Lee really really values the 5-out offense and wants to give the team some looks with a shooter at center. I’m watching him and Muscala for us.

absolutely, positively cannot go into season again with just mark and nick at center. that's unacceptable. so, figure something out.
maybe... a deal that swapped reggie jackson (and filler, if needed - bertans) for a backup center on a longer contract?

am i crazy or is the magics roster not that impressive. if Miller makes a similar 2nd year leap, our supporting cast is better because of LaMelo. they were healthy in a weak east last year, i don’t see them as some team that is way ahead of us.

also question mark is an incredible nickname and should be the new title of the mark williams thread

If we're healthy and we bring Miles back Lee is going to have a pretty strong and decently balanced starting 5 to work with.

LaMelo
Green
Miller
Bridges
Williams

With Grant, Micic, Mann, Richards, and Martin off the bench.
