I was going to go with Dean Smith or Coach K but decided a real pro coach was best.

Those college coaches are decent options, but the guy we have pegged... he's totally dominated his sport division for decades. Dude is just mean.

It's like the Grinch and Oscar the Grouch adopted a feral kid, totally neglected it for years outside of teaching it their bad habits and then right before they released it into the general population, they made sure it contracted rabies.

Anyways,

The LEGION OF DOOM selects:

Image

James White, Pick 1 in the 2nd round of the 2006 NBA Draft

Originally drafted by the Blazers, he's spent time on the Spurs roster and currently plays for Houston... three franchises that know how to find diamond in the rough types. Before being called up, White was killing it in the NBA DL, 25 ppg on 55% shooting with a respectable 3 ball. Draftexpress mentions that he was capable of defending 1-4 because of his superior athleticism and wingspan.

No defense's rim is safe. All of you owners that think you have a better front line than LOD, this one was for you. Specifically, I'm calling out the Aussies here. You guys think you've constructed a strong defensive presence? Think again. Prepare to be dumbfounded like Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams.

Since you built it, he has come (to dunk over and through it).

I don't know if you can accuse him of cheating, but he definitely knows how to exploit the rules for his squad's advantage to assure dominance.

<[LEGION OF DOOM]> selects: (those are spikes)

Image

Nikola Pekovic, Nonlottery 08

Just look at the terror the guy that Pekovic just dunked on is displaying! He doesn't want anything to do with the ball, much less the guy trying to break backboard glass all over him. I'll admit, this is borderline cheating on me and Chabber's part... this guy would've surely been a lottery selection last year if he wouldn't have signed a contract with Panathinaikos.

This 23 year old came out of nowhere, but he went crazy in the Euroleague a season ago and kept it up this season. Hollinger has written about how it's easy to predict the success of Euroleague players who jump to the NBA and he knows this guy is going to be a hot tamale. 18.3 points and 12.0 boards per 40 minutes, with 51.4 percent shooting and a 17.09 PER became 21.7 points per and 9.9 rebs per 40 on 55.8% shooting and a 18.36 PER. This guy isn't your typical Euro big man, he's a bully. He establishes position... then smashes with no regard for human life. Get out of his way, stay out of his way... punk.
