I was wondering if anyone could explain who Hines Ward is and what comparing Fisher to him means ? I know nothing about football and I couldn't really find what was implied when Williams said "Derek Fisher Is The Hines Ward Of The NBA"

LApwnd wrote:WR for the Steelers....he is known as somewhat of a dirty player cause at times he'll lay hits on opposing defenders when they aren't looking, like blind siding them and a few other type of dirty plays but thats the main thing he is known for.....there are actually rules in place now because of how Ward plays.
