Never thought in a million years I would be able to say that!

steady state or intervals?

each morning I jog a half mile warmup before my lift then either do HIITs (.25 miles at 11mph then .50 at 5mph until I give up) or steady state (3-5 miles at between 6-8 mph depending on how I feel).

On off days, I'll throw in a distance run outside if the weather isn't too horrible. I usually knock out between 7-10 depending on how good I feel.

Definitely a great way to relieve some stress and give yourself some energy

All pretty steady - although I do ramp up my speeds a little.

Last night I started at 8mph then moved up to 8.2mph pretty quick and then 8.5mph where I stay for the most part. I did kick it up to 9mph around the 70min mark because I was feeling so good and I banged out the last mile at 10mph.

I sometimes do inverval running. Buddy here at the office said it's a great way to burn fat. I generally run 6.25 miles (10 kms) 5 nights a week at steady 8-8.5mph but sometimes if I want to do interval running (which I generally do once a week - so I am running 6 nights a week) I will do 2 miles at 7.5mph, 1 mile at 10mph, 2 miles at 7.5mph, 1 mile at 10mph, 2 miles at 7.5mph and then finish the rest at 10mph

After I complete the full run run I generally walk at 4.5mph for 1 mile while doing continual bicep curls with a couple of 10lbs weights.

And then I sweat like a pig...

Caron Butler tricks Jonas Valanciunas in the last seconds of the game by pretending to shake hands or whatever and instead steals the ball and tries to score:

How long before Toronto demands an investigation and an official comment from the NBA?

That was hilarious.

Thank God today's top wiretap story is still the one about Pittman being assigned Sioux Falls, I had almost (scratch that, had) forgotten but thankfully they've kept it up there for 4 days now. That definitely belongs over Grant Hill's forthcoming retirement and Paul Pierce being unwilling to participate in a rebuild.

Seriously though, I see that old story and think it's all old stuff up there and miss relevant stories from today like Hill retiring. Who cares about Hall of Famers though? I want 4 day old news on a D-League scrub.

I don't think they're supposed to be in any particular order.

Haha, very well. They generally seem to post more pressing, up-to-date stories closer to the top (or it seems so to me), I mean everything else in the box is today's news save for the Pittman story. Heck the "CP and Billups to return Friday" story that was up there this morning has been bumped in favor of Pittman and Stoudemire's diet, lol.

I know it's petty, but this is the OT thread so my observations have free rein :D

EDIT: And now it's gone

It'll blow over. Nothing in it.

And if there is, the entire Australian sporting community - not just the AFL - will be brought to its knees because if it is true it's going to be wide sweeping.

we're only hearing rumours over here, but apparently the investigation has uncovered lots of crap.

Collingwood players linked with organised crime, not really a surprise Didak was already called out for that crap before.

Either NRL or AFL team/player has apparently point shaved or something to assist with gambling.

But that trainer you got last year is just dodgy as hell. Gold Coast sacked him after 6 weeks because of the way he worked. He made sure the players didn't talk to the team doctor or their managers about what they were taking?
Stinks bad.

Not surprised you guys ended up with injury problems
