even though on paper it looks like another inactive Boris Diaw statline, he had a pretty damn good game, in my opinion. Despite how ridiculous it might have looked to BrotherDave, he actually contained Curry when being switched on him after pick-n-rolls, made a clutch three and free throws and to some extent was good enough to replace Splitter and Duncan.

boris was huge in that game.

here's a pretty good breakdown on what went wrong

http://www.warriorsworld.net/2013/05/07 ... -collapse/

1. curry was tired, shouldnt have played every minute, had nothing left.
2. bogut, should have played down the stretch
3. jack was a trainwreck on defense and not much better on offense
4. losing klay was huge since he spread the floor and helped defend parker
5. putting in jefferson ahead of landry or bogut was a huge mistake
6. refs didnt help, several 50/50 calls went against them

He actually got a block on Curry on one play. But it was still funny watching him chase Curry around in a circle helplessly and then Curry just dribbles nonchalantly into the lane for an easy lay up. Diaw's offense and defense on Bogut of all people made an impact as well.

looks like GSW need some old heads down the stretch to settle things down.
You would hope Jack might be that guy, he's been around a lot, but I guess that's just not him.

I guess this is why players like Fisher keep getting contracts.

I'm glad Reggie Jackson is getting some burn now. He used to kill dudes at Boston College.

That being said, I can't believe how much it seems an uphill slog for OKC w/o Westbrook wrecking shop. I don't want to discredit Memphis but I bet Conley is sleeping much better not having to worry about checking that guy in this series.

Conley has been dominant without Westbrook in there.

Conley has been dominant without Westbrook in there.

Moreover, he stood his own ground against Chris Paul in the first round. It seems like every single Grizzly starter is underrated with the possible exception of Z-Bo who has gained some recognition for his scoring in the post.

Nate posterizing LeBron and getting the W tonight would make my week.

Feeling like a bad Bobcat fan last night watching the two guys I wanted us to draft in '11, Klay Thompson and Kawhi Leonard, putting on a show, and thinking what might have been. . .

I wanted the same two, but I'll survive with Kemba. :D

Joakim Noah is one tough, funny son of a gun.

It's pitiful to watch the officiating of the refs against any team giving the Heat comp in a playoff series. You can tell that Stern has his bid in to keep the Heat winning so they can generate maximum revenue. Basketball may be just a sport or game but the NBA is a business and it rears it's ugly head at the most competitive junction.

Game 2 was so bad I would have made a statement by forfeiting. There was obviously no point in playing the 2nd half of that game. Game 3 wasn't great officiating but both teams got away with stuff. I'm just tired of LeBron being allowed to play like Adrian Peterson all game.

Barnes' jab step is something filthy.
Humble yourself.
