I wonder who will be coming our way when all the sign and trades are finalized?

It was going to be Satoransky and/or Hart. I wonder if that is still being considered?

If one has to go Caleb Martin is the obvious choice out of those three. I'd kind of like to keep Cody Martin and would be pissed if we waived McDaniels.

One or both of the Martins will be cut or be used as trade help.

JB has a strong love of the Martin twins. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were both still on the roster and part of our primary guard rotation potentially ahead of Bouknight.

If we do not get Oladipo, Oubre or Markkanen at this point I will be disappointed. Just get the best talent and figure the rest out later.

The Martins exemplify the hustle and swiss army knife utility all good teams need. Their development has the same arc of McDaniels and Graham. Who's to say they won't come to training camp having spent the summer working on their deficiencies?

But if they do get traded or released, the ascendency of the franchise won't be affected. There's always another knife in the drawer.

I'd offer Dipo, he has significant upside.

Oubre? I'd pass.

Markannan...I keep going back and forth. He'd be nice, but do we really need another player who'll miss 25 games a year?

That's an awesome way to be fiscally irresponsible and torpedo any cap flexibility you might have worked for while firmly attaching your franchise to the late lottery treadmill.

I am saying on a 1 year deal. I mean nobody is offering them more than that and if they are its probably better off for them to hold off and test free agency next year anyways. Oubre on a 1 year 15 Million dollar deal makes sense to me.

He is versatile, fills a need on the wing for us, good defender on the wing, would excel in our fast paced offense and more than likely we can flip him for a late first at the deadline.

Tonight I was reminded of a Funny Story. My girlfriend, who could give two flying s**** about sportsball, once asked me who Cap Space was and did he play for the Hornets?

Should get rid of Caleb Martin for sure. The twins will have to be split up eventually...would likely give Cody (and Caleb elsewhere) a reality check that he's gonna have to make the most of every opportunity for minutes here.

Oh, and if we just let McD go, that'd be heinously stupid.

We should sign Rubio or Isaiah Thomas…if he’s not under contract. Then bring in Drummond or Cousins for a 1 year deal. I’d also like to see Oubre here.

Drummond signed with the Sixers. Now Whiteside is not available. Rumor was we were talking with Whiteside, but his contract is nothing we couldn’t have reached. Makes me think Mitch is working on getting Markkenen. I’d be OK with that if the contract isn’t a negative.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I want gritty veterans on this team with playoff experience. But unfortunately they all just want to team up and play together. Danny Green and Iguodala are the only decent ones left, but I'd be shocked if either signed to play here.

It's strange to me how easy it is for guys that can seemingly still play to fall out of the league. Guys like Allen Crabbe, Demare Carroll, John Henson, Brandon Knight, Kenneth Faried, etc. can go from making good money to not even being on a NBA roster. Injuries usually have something to do with it (i.e. Chandler Parsons), but I have a hard time believing that deep bench guys are better than some of these players.
