I don’t know if Hubert will make it to next season.

He won't. This team no longer feels like a blue blood. We have no legit big man smh

Hard to win when you literally start 4 players that’s like 6 3 or shorter.

guess you dont have to worry about drafting for fit when you have a desperate need at every single position

If they slide in the lottery and end up using their pick to take Thomas Sorber (or Queen) to replace Mark its going to be so demoralizing. Sorber is a fine prospect and I'm sure people would like him on this team, but theyd just be spinning wheels and not really building on anything.

Jaku had no business being on the floor with Harper and Bailey last night. Different prospects.

The top 3 is clear Flagg/Harper/Bailey

You guys have any opinions on Dukes Maluach? I’m pretty eh on him but he’s moving up the boards. I’m starting to like Knueppel more. Despised him at the beginning of the season. They’ll be there between 6 and 10

I'm getting excited about this draft. Obviously its a big blow if we don't land #1 and we will tank again next year if we don't, but theres some good players at the top. We need to gun for that worst odds so we can at the minimum pick 5th

Lot of people obsessively tracking him as a prospect. Don't really have an opinion on him myself yet, generally against drafting bigs in the lottery when a legit shot creator's available.

Maluach is known for his ability to be a deterrent at the rim — for obvious reasons. The 7-foot-2 freshman has blocked 3.3 shots per 100 possessions this season. With Maluach on the floor this season, Duke’s opponents have shot a lowly 49.6 percent at the rim — with only 27.3 percent of their field goal attempts coming inside of 4.5 feet from the hoop. In those 289 minutes, Duke has allowed under 89 points per 100 possessions, which ranks in the 99th percentile in CBB Analytics lineup data. These are dominant numbers and they explain why — more often than not — the defense will want Maluach in the paint, closing off that rim. That’s why drop coverage is such a natural fit for Maluach.

Yeah I’ve watched a lot of him. He’s just still raw but the talent is there. I dunno.

It would just be so disappointing to trade Mark Williams then use a Top 10 pick on the same exact archetype

if the team is going to go Big I'd rather see them select someone who has actual basketball skills, like Derik Queen or Danny Wolf over Maluach, who is just good at being big.

I am a Kon Knueppel proponent. The kid is a high IQ connector, a really good playmaker both in the pnr and secondarily off the wing. Good shooter. Winner. I think he's being underappreciated (rightfully) to an extent because Flagg is so freaking good. If you put him in @Braggins ranking by bpa he's a Top 6 guy. I don't know how anyone could watch that UNC game in which he carved up the Heels and not come away impressed.

It’s a good question. Flagg is such a transcendent player, he sort of defies a set assignment. But at the NBA level he’s gonna get pushed around by some big men at the 4. I see him more as a big small forward, with enough quickness to guard the perimeter while still strong enough to finish inside. He slots in well beside Miles (an undersized PF) and pushes Miller to SG, which is not Brandon’s best slot.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

The highest C on Tankathon's current mock is Malauch at 17. Mark himself didn't go in the top 10, seems like the days of taking a non-offense oriented center that doesn't have elite lateral mobility in the top 10 are over.
