I know it was just a garbage game against GSW, but he could be a solid backup guard for us.

With our Aussie fans, it would be nice to get an Aussie player :)

Then we sign Mike Budenholzer as our head coach, draft the Brow and I will be happy.

I have always been a fan of Mills game since college and I thought the Blazers brutally misused him.

LOL @nets. wallace is going to opt out and become a free agent. nets gave up lottery pick to rent wallace for 2 months on a non-playoff team.

disaster.

 I didn't think Gerald would opt in anyway. I thought it was a stupid trade when it went down, thinking that it was a lottery-protected pick. When I found out it was a top 3 protected pick, I pretty much died laughing.

Come home, Crash!

there's a chance he's pursuing a longer contract too, maybe even with the nets.

I can't blame him. Trying to cash in like Stephen Jackson before everyone realizes they've been took.

Yep, I can see Nets overpaying him to save embarrassment. (Sounds like Tyrus)

What? I wouldn't say that. I would say that he wants financial security like any player would. Wallace is still a pretty great player, he'll deserve his contract.

I just can't see Crash getting too much more than the MLE. He'll probably be looking for a four-year deal even if he has to take a pay cut. I think he wants to settle down in one place instead of moving across the country every other February or July. Unless some random team throws like 9 or 10 million a year at him, he'll play up to par with his deal.

Face it, he's declined quite a bit since his all-star season. Say we sign him for $25M/4, is a 34-year-old Gerald Wallace even worth six million? I doubt it. His athleticism has left him FAST. He hardly dunks on fast breaks anymore and he's still in his 20s.

Anyone else get the feeling that the "Brooklyn Nets" new colour schemes, designs, on court and off court gear is going to look fracking awesome?

I do.

Not really a fan of their new logo. I can get behind the black and white, but the logo is too "apparel" to me.

The logo looks like 2kSports made it. Hopefully the jerseys look cool.

I love how simple it looks. The black and white colors could really become a well known trademark of the team, imho.

I agree. I also think their off court wear is going to look sick and be the types of T's and caps that their fans are going to want to rock.

Have you seen the contract the Rockets are willing to give to Omer Asik?

I suppose Shaq would do better than that.
