So...does that mean he went to her house and smashed her windshield?

We can't catch a break.

A criminal summons has also been issued for Bridges, which came out Wednesday. Once again, because it has not been served, it’s not public record, so we have not been able to get a copy of it.

The corresponding police report indicated that the victim’s windshield was smashed in and that her protective order was violated by Bridges’ appearance. The incident happened at her residence.

You'd have to think this was something the league and team already knew about right? If this extends his suspension I'd imagine he might have played his last game in a hornets jersey. Lakers redemption arc back on the menu

Why?
Did he try to hide this summons long enough to try and get a long term deal signed?
Is it possible the team didn't know about this?

Between 2018 and 2021, we're going to end up with just 4 drafted players still being on the team. 5 if you count Cody, but I doubt he is around much longer. This, of course, assumes Miles is a gonner and we cut Bouknight.

Melo, Thor and PJ and Nick.

2018 - Miles and Arnold. - Arnold never made the team, Miles is a criminal.
2019 - PJ, Jalen and Martin(s). - PJ is good, Jalen was traded, Caleb was waived and Cody's knees are done.
2020 - Melo, Grant Riller, Vernon and Nick. - Melo is good, Nick is decent. Riller and Vernon didn't make the team.
2021 - Bouknight, Kai and Scottie Lewis and Thor. - Bouknight is an idiot, Kai lost his mind, Scottie didn't make the team. Thor is solid.

If miles withheld this info during contract negotiations, they should cut miles and void that contract. Klutch, if they knew, should be held to some firestorm something.

If the hornets did know, and brought him back anyway, then... what the **** are we doing?

Dude violated his parole basically 2 months after.

None of it makes sense without more context.

When he went to court, they should've been made aware of any outstanding legal issues like warrants, as potentially aggravating factors. I also don't believe it wouldn't have been mentioned by her or her representatives when they were discussing possible legal outcomes.

To me, it makes more sense to disclose everything upfront so that you can get past it for a contract negotiations. You would want to avoid this exact thing from happening.

isn't he getting regularly tested for drugs? they couldnt find a way to serve papers then?

My understanding is that this incident is old news but it just recently reached public consumption so it's the first we're hearing of it.

This happened 2 months after he pleaded no contest to the domestic felony battery. He broke the terms of his probation specifically the protective order.

The Hornets used copy and paste from all of their other press releases and said they are aware of the incident and in the process of gathering more information. Kind of feels to me like the Hornets didn't know.
