Cho got his fixation fix when Vonleh fell to him. There was no need to push the envelope too far only to return it to sender. Clifford wanted a wing with size that could shoot with range, and that's where Hairston came into play, whereas if Cho would've did all of this maneuvering to land his alleged favored prospect in Harris against Clifford's wishes, that would've been a bit distasteful and selfish

That is hilarious. If the GM really thought the talent was there he would have done it. Cho didn't like Harris and he wouldn't have taken him. The way you throw smoke screens is sometimes you admit the truth sometimes you lie. This was a truth year and Harris wasn't on our radar like the other wings were.

That's the ugly beauty of it all, that we would never know now

It's looks pretty good on your resume to be on the 13 point, 7 rebound, 4 assist at 23 and younger crew. Lebron James, Tracy McGrady, Paul George, Lamar Odom, and Lance Stephenson

Yeah it was as hard as it would have been to call about 6 other guys over Harris. We didn't want him and that showed from the process. I think we are just eh on Lance too. Just seems we aren't moving like we would if we were really high on the guy. Maybe it is behind the scenes but I just think his actions scare us.

I called it months ago that I thought Vonleh was 'Cho bait' though. You have to keep up. This isn't a random call that I made to be up-to-date. I've even mentioned on occasion that I wouldn't be surprised if Cho traded up for Vonleh. So, yes, just these mystical psychic abilities that I foresee. How you like them apples?

Wait you made the same call as a lot of us. You thought a consensus top 5 guy for most of the process was worth getting? I called for trading up for Vonleh a great idea for months. I loved the kid and thought he would be a great pickup for what we needed.

No sir. I made this call when Vonleh wasn't even in consideration as a top-5 pick. I know you want to dismiss my username as it come off, but I hate to admit that I was right

I'm starting to think we are just eh on Lance as well. It's surprising to me because of his talent and his availability for money alone. I am definitely surprised. There was Chris Broussard's tweet that we really like him but he never confirmed if we contacted his agent or not. We didn't move stealthily on Al. We called him in, made it public, like we're doing with Hayward. I said all along Hayward's our #1 target but given easier access to Lance and his talent, I am a bit surprised. The character stuff really matters to this front office it seems. They got desperate drafting Hairston. I doubt they repeat that type of gamble with Lance. We already know they moved on Afflalo well in advance of free agency. If Afflalo is here, we're not talking about Lance imo.

Yeah well next year I am taking your approach and backing 13 players so I have the chance to be right. Then is someone surprising falls and we take them I can say one of mine was next in line and we will never know.

I only backed 2-3 as 'Cho bait' (Exum, Vonleh, Harris)

This is true but at the time Ford's mock had us picking Vonleh or Harris every single spin of the lottery. This is before Detroit purposely tanked and before Vonleh shot up draft boards. He was a late faller because of one team really, the Magic. Aaron Gordon should have been the one to fall. But the Kings had him atop their board after Embiid, so Stauskas would have been there at 9. Anyways, Vonleh was really supposed to go top 5. Him falling late was kind of a freak thing. Cho must have messed his pants when the Stauskas pick was announced and Vonleh fell onto his lap. He should have mighty chi power now flowing through his veins, and negotiate with Hayward tomorrow accordingly.

But you also went with I can see them draft this guy or that. You looked way wrong on Harris because he fell so,far and we didn't get him and Vonleh was BPA by a long shot so he fits draft for talent trade for need. Anyways this is not the thread for this.

Still don't think Lance is right for this team.

We needed a talent like Vonleh in the worst way, though. He has very high boom potential, its rare for PF/C's to have dribbling and shooting skills like a guard, and Anthony Davis just proved how awesome that combination can be. Kemba, MKG, Zeller, Biz project to be solid starters, fringe all-stars. We need someone who can project all-star. Vonleh is more raw but the talent and skill is there, and he already is a man's man rebounder.

I didn't look way wrong on Harris because I only pegged Cho as liking him as much. I figured that other teams would allow him to fall. I stated on combine day that Harris could fall as far as 20, and was argued down about it. At this point, my alleged belief of Cho's infatuation with Harris went out the window once Vonleh fell, so there's no way we could prove it either way, and I'll consider that a great thing because I was very disinterested in seeing Harris with the Hornets or any other team I watch with winning interest

As far as Stephenson, I don't think he's ideal for this team, but he's right for this team out of all of the available options looking to cash-in. If they're uncertain of Stephenson so much, they should holdover the cap space until 2015's free-agency

I was laughing my ass off when he fell to 19.

I was really shocked the Kings didn't take Vonleh. Their war room video shows their owner really dominating his advisors and their GM is a total yes-man.

You can laugh if you want. If Vonleh didn't fall, I still believe that Cho would've reached for Harris. Where do you think all of the intel about teams considering Harris a lottery lock come from? Cho has reached for Zeller, so he would've did the same for Harris. Once I seen Vonleh likely to fall on draft day, if you go to the 'draft thread' my antenna was up before most that Cho would take Vonleh at #9 over Harris since Vonleh is moreso 'Cho bait' than Harris. You could almost go to as far as to say that 'I called it', but I'm not looking for no credentials. Just know that Vonleh falling was a blessing without disguise

Please stop trying to act like you know anything about Cho, or anything of that matter. Its getting rather annoying. One would think that you're Rich Cho yourself trying to troll us or something. Its getting ridiculous. We worked Harris out what? one time?

Also, what exactly is "Cho bait", and why is Vonleh more "Cho bait" than Harris? You speak a heck of alot in absolutes with any real facts behind what you say.

The most celebrated psychic in American history is actually a Southerner, born and raised in Kentucky. His name is Edgar Cayce. And he lived long before mass communications could elevate someone in 15 minutes to millions, when rural areas were very isolated. He actually lived very poor and refused to accept money until his wife forced him to. There is an institute in VA Beach dedicated to him and there are tens of thousands of volumes of his readings, including documentation, testimonials from satisfied subjects. In one scene of his biography, he even helped find an oil well and he helped a stock trader make millions.

How do you know MrKnowItAll is not the Yankee equivalent of Edgar Cayce, or Cayce himself reincarnated?

And your guess, or "hypothesis" was way wrong. Thinking we were going to draft Gary Harris when he was taken at 19. We are all allowed our opinions, and I myself am way more wrong than right, but the way you talk in absolutes and such is just annoying. And Im not the first poster to touch on the matter. Its definitely not sensitivity , lol.

Thats all Ill speak on the subject.

Anyways, im not even sure if Lance Stephenson is on our radar.
