Technically it was MKG and Zeller. Biyombo was acquired via trade. Point still stands, they are both role players. We shouldn't have stopped tanking until we found a #1 option. ( I don't think Kemba is a #1 option on a 2nd round team. Don't think Dame is either.)

Philly was also willing to have their entire 2014 draft not play until the 2016-2017 season in the name of drafting who they thought was the best player. (Saric/Embiid were 100% not going to play the 2014-2015 season.) There are zero other teams in the history of the NBA that would be willing to do that.

I think Clifford would be good for the Suns. That team needs more structure and discipline. Clifford would do well to come in there and change that culture and get some of those young guys in a system.

I think he would be an epic disaster there but I think it would be amazing to watch. His utter lack of ability to create any sort of functional offensive system would cause their fans heads to explode. While the team need structure it also needs someone who can utilize very diverse parts to create an offense and Cliff would really struggle with that.

Eric Bledsoe is the most overrated player in the NBA. That is all

Lot of Magic fans had similar complaints about Vogel that we had about Cliff. Development questions, rotation issues, etc.

I suspect that the #1 things teams will hesitate on Cliff about will be around health.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Rozier is absolutely torching him.

Im skeptical he'll get hired again, but if he does i hope its an East team we are in direct competition with.

I don't watch the OKC-UTA series, but I can't help but feel sad and angry when I see clips of Donovan Mitchell on social media and read about him breaking scoring records.

He's breaking scoring records because he is putting up a ton of shots on mediocre efficiency. The Jazz are good because of their defense. Mitchell gets to shoot as much as he does because the team doesn't have a lot of offensive talent.

Agreed. Mitchell got a lot of freedom this year. Heck Monk put of those types of numbers in the 5 April games with better assist to turnover ratios and higher shooting percentages. Monk just needs to spend the summer working on defensive positioning and focus and he won't be terribly far behind next season. We just have more talent on offense right now so his numbers would not be a gaudy.

Rozier reminds me the old Clippers backup point guard for CP3, named Eric Bledsoe...

Mitchell is thriving like IT2 in Boston, but he does play better defense...his impact on offense is not close to what IT2 did in Celtics though...

Question for the anti tankers. Which franchise has more of a winning culture, the 76ers or the Hornets?

I can tell you the Hornets definitely gained a lot of respect around the league and among general fans for doing things the right way the past 4 years or so... or something

The team definitely has a lot to show for capping out to win 36 games a year and never winning a first round series.

Nobody watches or cares about the Sixers because they blantantly tanked. They aren’t the talk of the league
