If Kemba is the best available player left on the board, then I think we should draft him. There are other talent for them to look at though. It just seem like the point guard class in this decade is abundant. There are at least 3-4 starting point guards in every draft so far.

I'm OK with Kemba if we are picking from #10 - #14. But if we wind up #7 or #8, and Kanter is still on the Board, MJ better jump all over that kid. Get Kemba or Knight withe the NO pick IF if falls into the Lottery at #14. And that is getting more and more possible each day as both Memphis and Houston are making a run at NO.

We have so many areas of need, we don't need to draft a PG with our first pick!!!, if we pass on Perr Jones/Kanter/Terrance Jones, to draft Kemba worker that'll be even worse then Brook Lopez fiasco!! :x

kemba walker? why? What about DJ being our PG for the next years?

anyway, I know MJ is going to screw it up big time

Actually, I like the idea of Kemba if we've decided that Gerald is going to be the starting SG as we move forward. It takes me back to the 76ers days when Allen Iverson played with Aaron McKie. I don't see DJ or Gerald evolving into that consistent 20ppg+ scorer but Kemba has that potential. We've needed scoring on this team for years.

If we grabbed Kemba, it makes me think that we would try to package DJ with the NO pick for someone that was drafted earlier (Barnes, Kanter, etc).

I don't mind Walker - there is no doubt he has a swag that this team seriously lacks, but so does Dee Bost - who is VERY much the same as Walker in style of play and swag and can be had much later in the draft.

I wouldn't be overly thrilled with burning a top 10 pick on any PG without the name Kyrie Irving this draft.

Here is my projected first round...Order subject to change.

Cleveland- Kyrie Irving
Minnesota- Harrison Barnes
Sacromento- Derrick Williams
Washington- Jared Sullinger
Toronto- Kemba Walker
Utah(from NJN)- Alec Burks
Detroit- Jimmer Fredette
Cleveland(from LAC)- Enes Kanter
Charlotte- Perry Jones III
Milwaukee- Marcus Morris
Golden State- Donatas Motiejunas
New York- Jonas Valanciunas
Utah- Terrence Jones
Philadelphia- John Henson
Houston(from Phoenix)- Kawhi Leonard
Houston- Markeif Morris
Minnesota(from Utah)- Nolan Smith
Charlotte(from NOH)- Tyler Honeycutt
Portland- Brandon Knight
Washington(from Atl)- Jordan Hamilton
Denver- Chris Singleton
Phoenix (from Orlando)- Justin Harper
OKC- Kenneth Faried
Miami- Trey Thompkins
Dallas- Williams Buford
New Jersey(from LAL)- Jajuan Johnson
Chicago- LaceDarius Dunn
Boston- Jon Diebler
San Antonio- Nikola Mirotic

Again this is just a look to see where people may go and fit into peoples styles. This will most likely not be the draft order. From a bobcats point of view it allows you to see who will draft in front of us and what types of players will be available. Also have Bobcats taking Marshon Brooks with our second round pick. Also have us getting rid of Diaw somewhere. Perry Jones adds so much Versatility so you have to love the pick. He can play on the perimeter or even center. He would be a good piece to build around.

Our Lineup for the future would look like this.....

DJ- Hendo- Honeycutt- Jones- ?

with Livo- Brooks- TT - and Kwame coming off the bench

So you're saying you don't want to draft a pg with our pick cuz Irving is a top 3 pick isn't he? The only issue I have with Walker is his size. He does make some bad decisions, but he'll grow out of that.

Found this on Magics twitter.. Vitale asked his opinion on Walker and Jimmer as NBA players.

MagicJohnson @DickieV K Walker is definitely ready for the NBA and should be a star. I think Jimmer will also be great.

I think that Irving is the only PG with top 10 talent in this draft (which is more like top 5 talent with him, but I was using more of where we will be picking as my yard stick).

I also think that if you can draft Bost late in the 1st/early in the 2nd rather than burning a top 10 pick on Walker that would be a much smarter thing to do.

I think Kemba is being under rated by alot of ppl. Could be a steal when this draft is looked back on in 5 yrs.

IMO he will be a 20/5/5 guy in a few yrs in the NBA. Possibly more.

If the Bobcats draft Kemba then I'm going to have to find another team to root for, not because Kemba is that bad, but because it proves MJ & RH just don't get it. Can they not look at the team as presently constituted and see that the team needs something different?

We need to stay FAR away from Perry Jones. The kid is all hype. He is just the same as Tyrus Thomas was coming out of school. a guy that likely is too big for SF, but has the game of a SF. He woul dnot fit well at all on this team, and out of anyone i'm MOST convinced he will be a bust. I also want no part of kanter. While he will probably be a good PF, he is NO C. It would be like playing Thomas at C, that's the type of player Kanter is. I don't want either of Kanter or Perry Jones.

My dream pick would be Derrick Williams. However I guess I could live with Kemba. I mean the kid has game, even though he doesn't fill a need. But you have to wonder, what heck would we do with DJ/Liv if we were to draft Kemba? I mean were rebuilding, it appears we have at least a decent PG in DJ, why not fill a position of need? It's not like we don't have them. There are a lot o fplayers that fit actual need and will most likely be on the board when we draft. Go after need, the talent and players will probably be there. If we pass up need for Kemba, I won' support it.

I disagree, I think perry jones will be able to play sf in the nba aslong as he works on it from jumpstreet.. he's 19 and till raw but the potential is there.. him& tt would be able to co exsist. Now ur cmpeletly wrong about kanter, dude measures 6'11 without shoes.. he'll be masured as 7'0 at the combine because we measure with shoes, and the euros don't.. dude is basically a 7'0 version of al horford.. I'm not high on eurs but I DO WANT.

Have you not read any of the scouting reports on Kanter? Almost all have labeled him as a SF. A tall guy who doesn't have any post defense whatssoever and who scores most of his points in transition. The guy is just not a C, he is a PF. Every single scouting report I have read on him screams Tyrus Thomas to me. Sounds like he has exactly the same attributes. We don't need another Tyrus Thomas to try to force him at C.

I just haven't seen enough from Perry Jones to suggest he will be a really good NBA player. A role player, maybe. But not a really good player. Potential is potential. Thomas had a lot of the same accolades coming out as Perry Jones is getting. He's raw, he can play SF, he will improve, there is potential. I really don't see much of a difference between the two. Personally, I think Perry Jones projects much better as PF, like a better version of Jordan Hill. I don't see him excelling much past a role player, and I really think he will end up just being a bench player. Too much risk there I think. Go after a guy like T Jones who has actually played SF in college, is just as young, and has produced at a much higher level at a much higher competition level.

Why would you listen to any report coming from chad ford about the cats? This is the same guy who said the cats couldn't trade wallace for a first round pick just hours before the wallace trade.

I was watching some footage on Kanter the other day and he was standing next to Terrence Jones during a photo shoot. I swear they looked pretty much the exact same height. That bothered me. It also bothers me a little that he plays so much below the rim, or so it seems checking out footage of him on the net.

Perry Jones is an interesting guy, but I think he screams more Bargs than he does KG. He just doesn't have any "wow" factor. This team is in desperate need for some "wow" factor. It needs some swag.

Guys in this draft class with "wow" and swag (IMO and in no order):

Irving
Derrick Williams
Sullinger
Jimmer
Terrence Jones
Tristan Thompson
Walker
Bost

Kanter is listed as 6'10 250, I know he maybe short for a center but his post up game should be reason enough for us to take him as we have zero post game now
