Dude was throwing pool table balls Through the Windows of the car while the kids were inside and his current girlfriend then was kicking and beating the car while the kids were inside the car. Dude. If this is legit, they have to cut ties. You can't have this dude on the roster anymore. He's a liability. There's clearly such bad blood between he and his kid's mother, that will never calm down. It's a ticking time bomb. He's already handcuffed us for two straight summers, we can't let this drag out next summer and have him handcuff us again and free agency. F****** ridiculous. We should have just cut him last year and been done with it.

I'm not mad at the organization for giving Miles a 2nd chance, but I won't look past them continuing to stand by him now. There needs to be some accountability up and down this organization if we ever want to be a serious, winning franchise.

Mitch and Buzz need to be shown the door as well.

what happened on October 10th, him throwing the pool balls through the window, is the second incident. What is the first incident that caused the January 2nd arrest warrant? Clearly there have been two incidents, but we only really know the details of this second one that happened earlier this week.

Such a disaster

The 2nd incident happened the day we played in Miami?
Did the incident happen in Charlotte? Did the team even come home first? We are playing in Washington 2 days later?

Also I don't understand how the Hornets wouldn't know about an incident that a warrant has been out on since Jan? He has been in Charlotte for weeks with the team. Why is everything coming out now?

From the Hornets standpoint, just logistically. If they cut him today and the league suspends him later for the year do we still owe him 8 million dollars? That isn't a small sum of money to just give someone who **** you over.

never wanted him back in the first place. it should be harder than this to be an NBA player. for him to talk about turning over a new leaf in his press conference return to this, there should be zero trust in anything he says. hard to find a shred of sympathy for him, it appears he's a monster. I don't care what the other partner did.

That part doesn’t make sense. How would this have occurred during a custody exchange on a day he’s traveling with the team to Miami? He’s definitely with them at least in DC yesterday as he was shown on their IG posts practicing. And how is he exchanging the kids at all with a protective order in place, wouldn’t there need to be a third party involved?

Just of shootaround yesterday in Miami before they traveled to DC. If he flew with team to Miami which why wouldn't he have, then he wouldn't have been in town Tuesday so this happened Monday before getting on plane in all likelihood.

But who knows, its all really stupid and I'm tired of it ALL

A criminal summons issued this week against Hornets forward Miles Bridges includes allegations that he smashed his ex’s car windshield and violated a domestic protective order on Oct. 6.

Mecklenburg County court records show the alleged incident happened in Charlotte when Bridges and the woman met for a child custody exchange. In May, the records show, a protective order had been issued by a judge in California.

The new summons charges the 25-year-old Bridges with misdemeanor child abuse, injury to personal property and a domestic protective order violation.

The court document providing details on the summons lists the offense date as “on or about” Oct. 10, 2023. On Tuesday, however, Bridges was in Miami with the team.

A separate document — a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police incident report obtained by The Charlotte Observer on Thursday — says the offense happened on Oct. 6 but wasn’t fully reported until four days later.

Part of the summons says the woman accuses Bridges of throwing pool table balls at her vehicle while the children were in the car. She says he threatened her, saying that if she called police he would withhold child support money, according to the court summons. Bridges also allowed his current girlfriend to “yell, scream and kick the victim’s car” while children were inside, the summons alleges.

Bridges has been summoned to appear in criminal court in Charlotte on Nov. 13.

MILES BRIDGES POLICE REPORTS

On Oct. 6 at around 9 p.m., CMPD officers were called to a home in Charlotte’s Aborteum neighborhood, where Bridges lives, public records obtained by The Charlotte Observer show.

The police report from the incident says his ex-girlfriend told officers her Audi Q8 SUV was damaged. The report doesn’t list Bridges or name a suspect but indicates the victim gave police a name and an investigation was opened.

Another police report from the same day, time and location shows the woman reported on Oct. 10 a violation of a domestic violence protection order. Bridges is not listed as a suspect but an arrest warrant was issued, the report says, and the details correspond to the criminal summons made on Oct. 11.

The Hornets aren't cursed. There are just a lot of **** ups throughout the organization that have been allowed to skirt accountability for far too long.
