Did you see Dana give him the belt? He sort of just threw it at him and then couldn't get out of the cage quick enough.
I love how transparent Dana White is!
If GSP wins in April, White should pit him and Silva against each other. It would be awesome - especially if he made Silva drop down a class and cut weight.

Did you guys see Eddie House cheap shot Blake Griffin yesterday? Punk move! Probably learned it from KG when he was with Boston.

I've been rooting against the Spider for so long, but now I'm on board as a fan. I was conflicted, because I like to see champions lose, but since everyone seems to be rooting against him now, it's not as fun. Go Spider go!
Bones dominating Bader in every aspect of MMA was fun to watch. Jon is very close to becoming my favorite fighter, especially since Wanderlei is so annoying on Twitter (only because he RT's everything. His original material is off the charts funny as far as unintentional comedy goes.)
Let down by the card, which is what normally happens when I'm really excited about one of these.

Re: Off Topic III
they are turning into riley ball from 90s (both knicks and heat) just like the celtics have done past 3 years (doc rivers pg for knicks in 90s under riley). its the same philosophy, foul so much that refs cant possibly call them all. you get a rep for being physical and soon refs let half of it slide. also, up the intimidation factor.

I'm not a Spurs fan, but all I want is to see the Spurs take down the Heat in 5 games. Of course one of those random "What the ****!" 1st round series would be nice too. Like when the Warriors knocked out the Mavs in the 1st round a couple years ago...or so.

If the Heat make hte finals I'd say it's already a huge validation of the 3-star experiment, and frankly a terrifying prospect because they'll likely have more options with new cap exceptions (i.e., an MLE center). I think they most likely lose to Boston this year, but if somehow they get lucky and Boston is knocked out, they'd be my favorite to make the finals. Then they probably lose to the Spurs, but who knows in a 7-game series.

FisolaNYDN Sources say that Jim Buss recently rejected a Bynum for Carmelo deal, much to the dismay of Kobe and Phil
WTF! Why would you not make that trade?
FisolaNYDN Jim Buss drafted Andrew Bynum and refused to trade him for Jason Kidd. But if Kobe and Phil want Carmelo why not go straight to Jerry Buss?
So what if he does not sign. Phils last year. Bynums has the legs of an 80 yr old. Make one last run! Plus LaLA might like it out there.

I doubt, whatever the new CBA is, it prevents the Heat from signing more new players. If anything the odds are that it will be considerably easier.

i dont know about that the league is mostly none to happy about the heat and their little super friends thing they have going on......i cant imagine them making it any easier for them to become a dominate team for the next 6 years

Three point shoot out players named:
Ray Allen, Boston
Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City
Daniel Gibson, Cleveland
James Jones, Miami
Paul Pierce, Boston
Dorell Wright, Golden State
Would have been good to see DJ in there. Even Hammer!
