So I came up with a simple idea:

Reverse the draft order of the 3rd and 4th round,so instead of going 1-14 in the 3rd and 14-1 in the 4th,we do 14-1 in the 3rd and 1-14 in the 4th.

Good?

i would be ok with using this system for the 3rd and 4th rounds. thoughts?

crunk - i am giving you until 1pm to make your pick. i'd hate for someone to get passed in the first round.

That's sad.

I think Nene should qualify for first and last name catergory because he only goes by Nene.

next year i will go back to having both all-star category and never been all-star category so that every player is theoretically possible.

That's his birth name but his legal name has just been Nene since 2003 or 2004. It's common for Brazilian players to do that.

I guess he could qualify for the name category.

player's first name starts with the same letter as the first letter in their last name

If he has no last name then he doesn't qualify.

I think it's kind of a summer/lockout game. I don't care if it takes a while to be honest.

guys, its going to be a slow draft. unfortunately thats the nature of these things. that being said, everyone needs to be as considerate as possible and try to be available when your pick is upcoming. and if you know you will be away for a while, PM your short list of picks to me. plus, its the summer, we have absolutely nothing else to do on the board and nothing to talk about so at least this will keep us entertained and engaged for a while.

now come on countryboi... :)

I think I expected all preceeding picks to take several hours too, I kind of forgot that you could have 2-3 picks in less than an hour if everyone's timing was right. Not that that really happened, but it would be one way in which someone could be caught unawares.

You should eat scrambled eggs - trust me. They really help and are one of the few easy things to eat after you have your wisdom's pulled.

Wisdom tooth? That's not so bad. After my HS graduation a few years ago, I had all four pulled at the same time. There's some pain for you. I feel for you though, for one stupid tooth, it hurts like hell.
