Per the wiretap

"Reports had linked the Nets to a trade that would send Kris Humphries and MarShon Brooks to the Charlotte Bobcats for Gordon."

Hadn't heard about including Brooks; hell keep him, just swap Gordon for Hump. We'll throw in Warrick for free.

I am starting to get the feeling Cho will come up with something last minute out of LF that hasn't even been discussed.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell
If I ranked Bobcats assets, it would be this: 1. Kemba. 2. Sessions. 3. Mullens. 4. Henderson. 5. Kidd-Gilchrist.

Apparently according to Bonnell our 2nd overall pick who has more upside than anyone on the roster is our 5th best asset. How the hell is this guy still writing for the Observer?

I try to give Rick the benefit of the doubt, but...damn.

If he was ranking who's performed best so far this year, then i could give that a pass but sheesh

Mullens and Diop for Garcia and Robinson.

there's got to be a way we can shed one of these bad contracts...thomas, gordon, and diop have got to go! let's see some ch0wnage today

Judging by the players' attitudes in the detroit game, I think the doors are wide open.. it's either going to be a circus or no moves at all, I don't think they are going to mess around. If we have to, just trade one of these guys for an expiring who has no desire to re-sign here to open up space for FA

After tomorrow the next thing we have to look forward to is the draft lottery May 21.

Hope we do something neat. 3 months is a long time.

I'd say more seriously watch us end up with either Jefferson or Millsap.

Sessions+Diop+Taylor+Portland pick for Al Jefferson.

I'd like to have Love, he could stretch the floor with Mullens!

I wonder if we have talked about Josh Smith with Atl. I do not know what they would want, but it would seem like we have better pieces then the Nets for sure.

I think we could put together a pretty active package. We have three picks, expiring contracts, and young guys.

Smith and John Jenkins for Diop, Reggie, Hendo, and Warrick plus the Detroit pick.

or throw in Mullens and use the Portland pick instead. Hendo would be a good player for them. They essentially take on no salary after this year and gain a pick. Upper hand on signing Mully and Hendo who would be good fits with their current roster. Jenkins would be a nice piece to give us a cheap three point specialist.

Obviously we would be forced to pay Josh Smith after the season though.

Kemba
McLemore
MKG
Josh Smith
Biz

would be a fun team to watch no doubt.

And we also throw in a first and second rounder?????

This only works if the Thunder are really in "win now" mode and if Jermaine O'Neal is released they can sign him.....

I would be excited if a deal like that went down for sure. I know Josh Smith has some holes in his game, but he is extremely talented and their is a reason the Hawks have been to the playoffs 5 straight years. He would give us a main face of the franchise and we would Kemba, MKG, and McLemore as a great young supporting core.

I am on the band wagon. too bad it wont happen haha.
