Age? 36

Location? Perth, Western Australia

Profession? Digital Forensics Analyst

What did you study (or are you studying)? Digital Forensics

Level of basketball? Rec Centre Chucker

Compare your game to current/former Bobcat? I dunno, 10 years ago I was a 5'10 fast version of Matt Carroll, now I'm more of a 5'10 Diop.

Why did you become a Bobcats fan? At first I just liked barracking for the underdog, but then I loved how their were no superstar ego's on the team. (they all humbled themselves)

Favorite piece of Bobcats history, relevant or irrelevant?
Image

What does your screen name mean? When I first started using the internet I used my pet name Sachmo and just never got around to changing.

Favorite Bobcat of all-time? Would have to be Crash.

Favorite other NBA players of all-time? Shawn Bradley (I really struggle to explain why) Chris Mullens, Jeff Hornacek, Mark Price, Glen Rice, Dirk Nowitzki. I loved my shooters.

If you didn’t support the Bobcats what NBA team would you support? Pre internet I changed teams a fair bit, first GSW with Mullens, then who ever Bradley played for. I stayed a Dallas supporter for a bit. I guess I would revert back to GSW

Other sports played growing up? Aussie Rules football and basketball mainly. got into golf once

What other sports teams to you support? Carlton FC, Perth Wildcats.

Hobbies? Computer games,

Favorite music? I have a pretty broad range, but mainly I'm a metal head. Metallica, Slayer, Slipknot.

Favorite TV shows/movies? IT Crowd, Workaholics, Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks n Rec.

Tattoos (how many, where)? None

Your dream team of hot chicks? My old top 3 was Anna Kournikova, Stacey Keibler and Jessica Alba.

Other sites you visit to waste time (SFW)? Ozhoopsforum, twitter, facebook.

books? I usually read fantasy novels. Recently read Born Standing up by Steve Martin. That was brilliant

Did you ever see one of Bradley's beastly triple double games?

I've always wanted to watch this game:

I remember his back to back 10 block games for New Jersey actually made the local news here.
Which was quite a miracle, normally they only showed clips of Barkley and MJ.

Na I never saw that triple double game for Bradley. That brings back memories as the only access I used to have for regular NBA news was via the old newsgroups at work. I was an avid reader of a female Dallas fan who always wrote blogs on each game played and I remember her write up about this game and about how everyone was talking about Shawn at half time, they all knew something big was happening.

it occurs to me that i probably copped out big time to the favorite music and tv/movies prompts. i said nothing because i like so many things. i go to big-time film festivals every year and see all sorts of weird ****, so my favorites would a)take me a year to compile, and b)easily fill pages of this thread. suffice to say, i am a super duper movie snob and have seen all sorts of obscure, brilliant **** from literally every corner of the globe. as for music, i will just link this - http://www.last.fm/user/oog/ so you can see the breadth of my interests.

as for books, i have read tons of stuff over the years, but i will just list the last nonfiction and fiction books i have read - people's history of the united states by howard zinn, and blood meridian by cormac mccarthy. both of them are incredibly dense in their own ways, and blood meridian was one of the most affecting novels i've read since beloved, by toni morrison. some deeply dark stuff.

Nope. I use amcoolio for just about everything. My site, bobcatalley.com, was the original bobcats fan site back in 2004. We eventually merged to bobcatsfans, and then I guess BCP emerged sometime after that. I always prefered RealGM because its always better arguing with fans of other teams. I was big on the ESPN Charlotte Hornets board way, way back in the day, along with hornets_686 and W_HAMILTON, who rarely posts nowadays

Those on the Bobs/Hornets underground know who you are Mr. Myers

Ultimate compliment paid to you though being Bobcats fan HOF.

@K2H

Keep an eye out for Ammofan, _Spectre, ohara, Steve Morrison, Cronkite, HAM and even where the **** is Jaruff at lately? They appear sometimes, I know they're lurking and I've just forgotten a ton of others who deserve a mention.

Some of them old, some new but they know their stuff and been around for a long time.

I got a lot of respect for all the Bobcats OG fans and the new breed also, we are very lucky to have the Hornets/Bobcats superfan GOAT (imo) on board as our very own fatlever.
