He must really like Charlotte. Weird job choice.

I'm scared for what this means for MKG. Definitely gives up my hope of him developing a corner 3.

Damn -- doesn't that mean the three-year plan to fix MKG's shot now prematurely ends at two years? :(

I don't see why this would effect Him working with MKG. Price will still be in Charlotte, and their work is during the off-season. It's not like Price took a job in an obscure location. it sucks he's leaveing but I think it won't cut MKG's shot development out of the picture

I have to imagine Price is going to be super busy this summer working with his staff building a plan for the year and recruiting. No way is he going to be on 24/7 call like he was last summer, but I'm sure he can find time here and there. Having NBA guys coming to your college gym for coaching isn't exactly a terrible thing to be able to brag about on the recruiting trail.

Lol. I'm pretty sure Mark Price isn't the only person in the world that knows how to teach proper shooting mechanics

Man this is a awesome! Hate to see him go but he's in my backyard now and I think he can do great things here, can't wait to see who he brings in for a staff.

Price is 51. I don't think he's starting, I think this is phase 1 of retiring. He probably got a pretty hefty raise and a five year guaranteed deal, and if he's successful he can stay until he's ready to be done with basketball.

Damn! I hate to see Mark Price go. Best of luck to him at UNC Charlotte.

We better hire Adam Filippi as our shooting coach. Or if we can get Chip Engelland, sure!

I was banking on us locking Kemba, Lance, and MKG in the gym with Price all summer long. This is a disappointment.

Kemba has had the same two summers that MKG had to work with Price.

Lance needs it more than both

First time I ever hear of this university. They don't have any NBA alumni, do they?

They're the local school but they have never had a top tier program with any real visibility. They made the NCAAs for a few years which was a nice accomplishment, but they're a nobody on the national scene here in the states.

They did go to a Final Four in the 70's and they were a pretty tough out in the NCAA Tournament in the late 90's early 00's. They used to be very respectable and won the C-USA a couple times back when the Conference USA was deep.

They've had 8 players play in the NBA including "Cornbread" Maxwell

oh, okay, then I actually had looked at the right school. wasn't sure whether they really were "University of North Carolina at Charlotte". The "North Carolina" part confused me.

Maxwell is an impressive name. Rodney White, the most unlikely author of a triple double in an NBA game, is also a notable player.
